Gagnon’s listing in the Cullman City Directory from 1998 to 2007 indicates he lived in Cullman for almost a decade. His address was 1628 Katherine St. NW.


This shows even more they are really checking him out!! I dont understand the 1998 to 2007 thought he had been in Texas for 4 years? Maybe directory not updated?

BL, do you think he may have had two places he lived? VT in the summer and Texas in the winter? It is also very possible that the directory has not been updated...

Thanks nursebeeme. I feel lucky that I did not know anyone personally who was intimately involved in this. It is so mesed up. I just know a lot of people who did/do know them. Just friends of friends and family.

And I feel certain that nobody thought anything strange of them. I believe my cousin & wife had dinner with Micheal Jacques and his wife and two other couples maybe three weeks ago, and that is just a normal thing to do. They all behaved completely normal I would guess, otherwise something would have come out before now.

I don't think the OH James Bennett is the same one.

My thinking was that he was assigned downrange with another guard unit (happens frequently...esp with guard and reserves) and it happened to be that Ohio unit (numbers and contact info are very slow to load between military moves).

One thing I am sure of...is that every single service member has an ako email and there was no James A.. and there were two James with no middle name....one of them being a specialist and stationed in BFE (he was active guard reserve/AGR), and the one that I think is James, with the Ohio number listed for his current unit.

Raymond Gagnon, who has been living on the Northwest Side for the past year

Cassandra Gagnon, Brooke's mother, said she and Gagnon were married about five years until divorcing in July 2006. She said her ex-husband moved to Alabama, then San Antonio, and that when Brooke disappeared, he traveled back to Vermont.

Raymond Gagnon had been living in a home off Bandera Road when news broke of Brooke's disappearance. A woman who answered the phone at the residence but declined to give her name said Raymond Gagnon had moved in with her and her boyfriend about one year ago. She said he worked as an engineer in San Antonio.
“He was very shocked, and he was upset that (Brooke) was missing,” the woman said.
A neighbor called Gagnon “reclusive,” adding, “I did see the FBI at his house at around 3 in the morning (on Tuesday).”
The neighbor declined to give his name out of fear of being tagged an “informant

LOL thank you! This case has just consumed me, and I am on medical leave, cant really do much of anything so I sit here and search and search looking for answers. Next week my time will be more limited because daughter will be done with day camp, but until then I am glued to the computer.

Thanks for posting this. It's good to know the FBI is picking RG's life apart.

I wonder if Kevin G and RG both lived and worked in Cullman, Al. Then transfered to Texas?

In following some other cases in the past, I have to say I am so so impressed with how Vermont LE has handled this. They have done an amazing job keeping the public informed with as much information as they can, and they appear to be leaving no stone unturned.

Miss Vermont.... what is the buzz in your area? (and NO I am not media or anything pertaining to it...just in case you are wondering LOL)...

Have they been holding counseling sessions with kids that B went to school with? I cannot imagine how hard it must be on all the teens.....being out for the summer with no school structure and support to help out with the grief.
