She asked Brooke's dad why her mom would allow her to go in car with Sex offender. He says he doesn't know, maybe because he was charged with that along time ago. Brooke's dad said that the uncle has 2 daughters with present wife. Dad says he hasn't seen Brooke for 3 weeks.

I can't remember precisely enough to directly quote Mark, but something like, if Brooke is found he should fight to get custody because the mom is not fit, and is not responsible, and failed Brooke by letting her around this (the uncle) sex offender, and for not monitoring her PC activity etc.

He wouldn't have any way to know much of anything that went on with Brooke while living with her mother. He is where so many weekend fathers are with having to take a backseat in raising his child, it seems. How very sad he now has to realize that she was in danger the entire time with that side of the family.

Well there was a case at the begining of this month where a man in Randolph was released on a citation to appear in court.

The man was 51-years-old. The boy he sexually assaulted is 16 now. The assaults took place when the boy was between the ages of 5 and 8. The man lived in Randolph at the time and recently moved to Bradford. That is where he was arrested.
He was arrested the day after his court appearence July 3, 2008.

If you look she has a friend named Brookiepie. She says she is 14, but the site is set to private and has not been logged on since 3/20 which fits what the dad said. I can't tell if it's Brooke or not. I'm not goos at that sort of thing. I would make a really bad eye witness.

I'm not blasting JB, because he's trying to do his best answering questions, and I'm sure he wasn't aware what was happening with the mom 24/7.

Maybe they believed he was rehabilitated. Or maybe they thought with his wife and children around Brooke was supervised enought to be safe.

Personally, I'd have never let her around him if I wasn't right there, family or not.

I feel so bad for Jim Bennett. I think he's been doing the best he can to look out for his daughter given he only sees her part time.

I hope he has the opportunity to take Mark's advice.

I always thought it varies from state to state. The fact that he finished his "treatment" program may have relaxed some of the stipulations. He probably violated his probabtion 'cause he was caught doing the same thing...and it's a crime. Which also means...he was still "under probabtion" from the last time.

He probably violated his probabtion 'cause he was caught doing the same thing...and it's a crime. Which also means...he was still "under probabtion" from the last time.

I'm thinking his first offense wasn't with a minor. If so, wouldn't he be required to stay away from kids? Like Brooke....
