I don't know what a sugar house is either.

It was answered several posts back, it's a place where people make maple syrup in the winter, but it's shutdown in the summer. Apparentl Vermont has a lot of them.

Is the conference on Fox News?

  • #86
I am watching live and can update about the press conference.

(OK to make maple syrup you need to get a lot of sap and boil it down. Like 15 gallons of sap makes 1 gallon syrup or something like that. They do this in little shacks near the trees so they don't have to haul gallons and gallons of sap too far.)

How would she be getting food and water, though?
You know the uncle wasn't going there to feed her or give her water because the LE were on his butt.

I think a sugar house is a place where the maple sugar is processed after they get it from the maple trees...lots of them in VT.

Thanks for the info d_s! :blowkiss:

On days such as this, do you wish you were back there? Or thankful that you aren't?
My very dearest Liz,:blowkiss::blowkiss:
I am so happy to see you!!!
No, I do not miss it LOL.

I think if she was alive in the sugarhouse it would not take so long to find her and it would be a joyus announcement, not this hush hush long search followed by press conference.

I cant get any of the links to open now.

Are you using Firefox? It wouldn't open for me either, but then I used Safari and it opened right up.

There is going to be a press conference at 6pm

Oh, yuck. This sounds as if the LE/Feds were allowing Brooke's parents time to arrive at the station and to be updated on most current 'findings' prior to releasing news to the general public. If they found her and she were taken to a hospital her dad would be taken there... So I guess we can assume they haven't found her yet or it is not good.... Prayers still..

Does anyone know of a link to go to watch the live press conference?

Does anyone know if the presser will be online somewhere?

Thank you in advance. Praying in the mean time.

Great, Amster. If it should be removed permanently, at least you had the forethought to save it to your computer. Thank You!

YW....but, trust me....I'm so computer illiterate, I didn't even realize I'd saved it. 3 times! :waitasec:
