Abiding by HIPPA laws isn't always easy, but I'll give it a try..
I work in a hospital that provides care for SSCF inmates. I know many of the CO's. I've been assured that Jaques is being "treated properly" and may even get a field trip to my E.D. any time now.

I don't know about you guy's, but vengance is an emotion that consumes many. Not sugar in the gas tank type stuff but Braveheart type stuff, many of my friends in LE suspect this guy won't make it to court in one piece...........I have a young daughter..........this is boiling a lot of blood...........I need to sqeeze off a few hundred rounds........I know just the picture to use for target...............I'm sure Adnoid can relate.

The good thing is those safes are basically indestructible and if LE wants to find it, I'm sure they will. Metal detectors will help a lot. I hope he was stupid enough to NOT remove the stuff inside because the safe should keep all that's inside in good condition. Although I'd say there are probably enough charges right now where this isn't even needed.

This case has really affected my soul.

It's affected a lot of our souls, taximom! How can it not?

I can't imagine that he would have really thrown that safe in a dumpster, unless he'd arranged its transfer from there. A treasure-trove full of child like that has to be worth a king's ransom these days. Betcha dollars to doughnuts he turned it over to another pedo - maybe in that Breckenridge ring, if it exists.

Son of a !! I left last night thinking that the presser was over and that they were just charging the uncle with kidnapping. WS was being sort of slow and so I went ahead and left. I didn't know that they found her body.

I know just how you feel, Jen! I read the same message and breathed a huge sigh of relieft, thinking thank goodness her body wasn't found! A second later, phone call interruption and when I got back on a little while later, my heart felt like it dropped down to my toes.


Heartfelt sympathies going out for all who loved & cared about dear Brooke!

You know everybody always talks about how baby killers/child abusers won't last long in prison etc etc..I have yet to hear about anything bad ever happening to them. Look at SP? Nothing happened to him yet. My brother works for a prison in Alabama and he told me that the prisoners are protected. I've been watching this case from the beginning. I havn't posted anything about it. To me, it's too disgusting and vile for me to actually fathom. I knew the probable outcome, however, with everything inside of me I was holding onto some hope. I really felt just maybe some other had her. It truly brings me to tears. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I really wish that in some way Cassandra could legally be held accountable for this, but if she has ANY heart which i'm sure she does. Then her conscious will probably do more justice than the law could because she has to live everyday of her life knowing, she could have ATLEAST TRIED to prevent this.

I can't even begin to describe the feelings I am having. The vigil last night was the most heartbreaking thing I have ever witnessed. My heart is just SICK for Brooke. May she finally rest in peace....Cassie & Denise? You are the biggest 's I have ever come across. It was YOUR job to protect your babies from these kinds of people and you FAILED. IMO, it is YOUR fault Brooke is no longer w/ us and you deserve a cell right next to the monsters who did this. I certainly hope those idiots in Montpelier take a long hard look at the laws they created that let monsters like this walk the streets.

Cheko..................I agree! The family waited 12 hours to report Brooke missing, and even then, it was a family friend who made the report. I keep wondering if those 12 hours would have made a difference in the outcome?

If the family had reported Brooke missing right away, she may have been found at the uncle's house before he harmed her.

I also wonder about it Leila!
Thank God the family friend called LE / the family may never of did it.

We know she was alive for a few hours because MJ picked her up / took her to his place/ Brooke & A watched TV / MJ went downstairs to get her raped her & the rest is history. So there was some time to get her out alive.

FBI: Brooke's uncle hatched abduction plot beginning in May

Brooke Bennett's uncle began plotting her abduction a month before the 12-year-old disappeared, court records released this morning say.

Michael Jacques, 42, of Randolph, created and used two phony e-mail addresses to communicate with a 14-year-old girl about a sex program he invented named "Breckenridge" and to solicit the teenager's help in luring Brooke into the program.

Brooke's body was found by police Wednesday near Jacques' home in Randolph, a grim conclusion to a weeklong search for the missing girl. Jacques has been arrested and charged in state court with sexual assault on the 14-year-old, and faces federal kidnapping charges in Brooke's disappearance.

The affidavit prepared by FBI Special Agent Daniel Rachek suggests that the sex program known as "Breckenridge," was the creation solely of Jacques', a convicted sex offender.

A series of e-mail exchanges quoted in the affidavit and dating back to at least May 28 indicate Jacques intended to abduct Brooke and assault her. In the e-mail exchanges, Jacques uses multiple online identities to manipulate the 14-year-old girl into believing at least three men are involved in the Breckenridge sex ring, the affidavit shows, with two online personas ordering her what to do.

In one exchange dated June 20 between the girl and Jacques, posing under the online pseudonym "Rauel Domingo," Jacques asks the girl if she would willing to help with "the take down and the tie up on Wednesday morning when you get back from Cumberland Farms."
