The latter never entered my mind in other cases (ie hornbeck) when children have been, for lack of a better word, accomplices. I don't know why i am thinking that now. Anybody else having such mixed feelings?

I need more tinfoil for my hat because I was just thinking the same thing. I was thinking why do I feel so different about AR than I did about Hornbeck and others. And then you said "she seemed so into it." That's why for me. However, would I feel different about Hornbeck if I had the details I have in this case?

Soooo, where was this special equipment going to go? Does he have a dungeon somewhere? The sugar shack? The old home they moved from? You can't hide that one thing in a drawer, I don't think.

concerning A.R., i am having a hard time sussing out how i feel about what has happened. on the one hand, i honestly feel that she did not realize who she was talking to w/ M.J. e-mail aliases, that she was so afraid and brainwashed that she would have done whatever was asked of her. It is not like we haven't seen time and time again children who have been so extremely damaged in this way eventually "helping" or "luring" others into a similar fate. It completely screws up the their sense of what is right and wrong (imo). About her comments about things she would want done to Brooke, i believe it's possible that she is so bitter and angry and hurt about what has been happening to her that she maybe felt that Brooke could take some of the pressure off of her and the things that she has been forced to do. Even to want her to be hurt as she has. I almost think that would be a normal reaction when (and judging by the mothers comments in the affadavit about the things that she has seen, all signs point to them being true) things are that horrific.

I am right there with you - it is simply incomprehensible! I think there is possibility that AR felt threatened by Brooke - that either Brooke would expose what is going on, and MJ convinced AR that her life would be torn apart (fear of the unknown-as we know her life was already torn apart), OR that Brooke was going to take her place in 'Breckenridge'.

Someone earlier (can't remember who - sorry!) said they think Brooke found out or figured out what was going on between AR and MJ - I agree wholeheartedly that something like that happened. Maybe even when Denise walked in with AR in a towel, shower dry, KY jelly, , etc., Denise may have talked about this information - that may the exposure. Maybe Brooke learned of it and started putting the pieces together...maybe Denise walking in on AR and MJ is the reason Denise and AR are going to counseling...

Another thing that bugs me is - what child would NOT want their mother and birth-father to reunite???? No child that I know! From my experiences with my children and the children of friends of mine who were raised in a single parent family, they dream of the day their parents will reunite...to the point of it being unhealthy!

While I am not as naive about such things, I was horrified and sickened to think of any of those things being used on this child. I didn't get to read the full affidavit before it was blacked out, but I have an idea which one he bought. I can't figure out what else he bought tho.

I hope he was stupid enough to leave them somewhere on his property and that LE has them as evidence. I did note they went to his house so I would have to assume that AR signed for them since both MJ and Denise would be at work during delivery time.

All I remember is he also bought an attachment for it. I'm kicking myself for not saving the original affidavit.

I'm guessing he bought the "machine" itself, a dildo (which is not included apparently) and one of the elaborate sets of restraints. All of that plus taxes and shipping would be about right. Also seriously wrong.

I'll tell ya- last night I was so upset and ranting and today after reading the affidavit (I read both that were available-one was not as redacted) and I am horrified and quite frankly SPEECHLESS!

I agree with what you said in your post about AR and I too can't wrap my brain around this. Just when I don't think it can get any worse, it does. I really can not process what I am learning.

Reading what all of you are saying about this is actually helping me to not just completely shut down. The fact that the FBI stated that they were only putting enuff info in the affidavit to secure prob cause, and are purposely witholding other info makes me think that this is even sicker than what we are discussing now.

I think my head is going to just blow up!:nerves:

Ok...confused...aren't these emails? Wouldn't she be clicking them open...reading them...responding to them...how did she not know?...he tells her he dreams about her and their child? She thinks this is coming from some anonymous person she has no relationship with?

He was using different names and accounts. He pretended to be different people. My take is that "E" Chevy_ [email protected] was the one "selected" by "Breckenridge" to eventually be her husband and she had sex with him once (man she said she could not identify). "C" or Raueldom @yahoo.com was the man from "Breckenridge" supposedly in control of the larger operations and responsible for calling the shots. In the meantime, she was also having sex knowingly with MJ (dad) as her "trainer" and Juvenile #2 (which I am only guessing that MJ agreed to for "practice"). She could openly discuss E and C with MJ because they worked for "Breck".

We don't know as we have not seen any affidavits concerning the SWs served on the property as to what was taken other than what has been outlined in the 3. I believe there were at least 25 SWs served earlier in the week.

Whats confusing me some is in all the emails written by chvy and raeul all refer to "dad" - I realize that these are other user names for MJ but I dont understand why they all refer to A.R. father as dad? Hope that makes sense having a tough time trying to explain what I am saying.

For some reason, Juvenile 1 really seems to hate Brooke and Savannah. And, I think she was there for the torture and murder of Brooke. She is totally gone, mentally. Evidently, in her short life, she has had experiences that no sane person can even imagine. :furious:

I believe the guy she says she had sex with...that she can't remember because she was drugged....is Gagnon.

MJ says he talked to the store clerk about Brooke using the phone if her friend didn't show up. Lying .

that's a good thought, about would we feel differently if we had more information on other cases. it's sometimes hard for me to swallow how manipulated people can be, yet we see it time and time again. i'd love to give people the benefit of the doubt, but that's hard to do when it ends as tragically as it did for Brooke! Ah, this is all just so horrible. thanks for your imput!
