I wonder why he choose Brooke, though. If he just wanted a sex slave or to rape and kill some young girl for the fun of it he could have gone to Boston and found a transient/runaway.

Doing this to his own niece and involving his highly mentally unbalanced 14 year old step daughter and her boyfriend..why? It doesn't get riskier than abducting a relative and using two teenagers as accomplices.

Was he obsessed w/Brooke? Did Brooke know something about his abuse of AR? Had he by that time become totally unhinged from reality and his control of AR made him think he could pull this off?

I can't get beyond the fact that AR COULD have stalled...she could have failed to get the BF semen, could have put up all kinds of roadblocks to this without ever telling Jacque no and she didn't.

Maybe he was scared that his first victim was getting to knowledgable, and wanted to line up a new vicitm, in case victim number one would get tired of complying to him?

I dunno , am just throwing ideas out.

I just did a Google map search and the two addresses - 1850 and 1916 are actually "next door" so to speak. There's probably about 500 feet between the two - just my rough estimate. But there's no other homes in between the two.

And I could've sworn I'd read somewhere that the new home was right next door to the old home they used to live in; which had been MJ's grandfather's home. Or, I'm imagining things.

The 1992 vic was taken to MJ's Gpa's farm to be murdered. Alot of crimes took place under MJ's dad's roof. There was also a claim by MJ that he murdered another 12 year old. And if Brooke was murdered at the same area....then...are there other vics?

I kind of doubt there are other bodies burried out on the farm, it isn't like everyone in town didn't already know he was a kidnapper and a rapist, I would think if any local girls disappeared he would have been the first suspect...

Maybe the sugarshack area is where MJ took the other victim before he let her go. They say something found at the house led them to that area and a map would be a logical find with the place marked, imo.

This also adds another aspect to MJ's sexual fantasy. If he lived on or near the property where the victim was taken in the convicted assault/kidnapping case...he could be constantly reliving that experience and added murder to it. With the knife being his choice of weapon in the first one...I wouldn't be surprised if this didn't enter into the current murder, too.

Who is to say they would be local? There are thousands of missing young girls across the country. (He could have buried the girl there from AZ, too.)

Just had another thought. If there is a bunkhouse for workers on the property, the 34 names that Busylady found could be correct. There are migratory workers who do come from other areas...one of those areas could be AZ. Maybe the girl was with her parents working on the farm and how he became acquainted with her. The abduction/murder could have taken place in another area after they moved on to work and why it never came back on MJ. It also sounds like MJ's grandparents may have covered a lot of his crimes to keep him out of jail possibly. She was a JP and he was of reasonable wealth in the community.
