Bellingham Police seek information in unsolved homicide

"Police say just after 11 p.m. on Nov. 20, 2009, Bryan Marriott, 43, was found shot to death next to his vehicle on E. Ivy at N. Garden St in Bellingham. Witnesses heard an argument just before the shooting and reported seeing a dark colored passenger car leaving the area. The case has been open for 12 years will little to no new information, police say."

From a 2009 news article:
"When police arrived, they found 42-year old Bryan Marriott shot in the chest in the area of East Ivy Street and North Garden Street... His car was still in the street, idling. The emergency brake had been set and the driver's side door was open. Witnesses say right after they heard the gunfire, a dark colored car went speeding down the road. Police say, among other motives, they're looking into the possibility this is a case of road rage."

Road rage may have led to Bellingham homicide

Police say the shooting death of 42-year old Bryan Marriott is the first homicide in Bellingham this year.
