NYC Building Collapses After Report of Explosion

A building has collapsed in Manhattan after a report of an explosion, authorities say.

FDNY said it was responding to 116th Street and Park Avenue. Smoke could be seen from midtown, a few miles away

How can there only be minor injuries if the building was occupied? That's probably (sadly) not accurate but it immediately made me think of the Bronx insurance fires of the 1970's.

No one has been able to go in and look for more due to fire.
