I've read much worse on other political threads here.

Me too! I think it's a good rule, but I wasn't aware of it.

I've been known to call current Prez some derogatory names - though not in mixed company! I guess I'll just stick with POTUS, which is an acronym that cracks me up!

Things got really nasty in here during the 2000/2004 elections. There was lots of name calling on both sides, so that rule was implemented. It really does help keep things on a more mature level.
