But as it stands at this moment, he (Lee) is 100 percent behind his sister

  • #21
Sure, he's 100% behind her...until he has to give truthful testimony about her in order to preserve his immunity.

I think his lawyer's statement is a little bit of PR, too ("Lee's trying to stand by his sister, but he's a reasonable, decent guy who could change his mind once he hears all the evidence.") Not that I'm reading anything into it, of course.

His actions speak very clear to me, he has not been supporting her, he hasn't been to court to any of her hearings and the fact that he needs immunity at all speaks volumns to me.

“He’s obviously waiting to see what happens, if there’s any more evidence comes out,” Luka said. “But as it stands at this moment, he is 100 percent behind his sister.”

WTH??? He's waiting to see what happens! If there's any more evidence! But as it stands at the moment!

Me thinks this attorney just said TOO MUCH. He must have forgotten the attorney golden rule: after you've made your point, shut up!

It's nice to know Lee is behind the sister who has accused him of sexual abuse.

I don't for one second believe that he is standing by her.
Not one second..

He is doing what he has to do to try and live a normal life. Soon as he drops the ball that she is a rotten, horrible killer, his life will not be normal.

doesn't it make it seem like one of those made for tv movies? or or remember the summer of "who shot JR??"--yeah we were all waiting on that one as well.........:waitasec::angel:

If Lee is behind Casey it helps to solidify my belief that she did not murder Caylee. I have been wondering where he was! Also wondering why Mallorys depo is not available after all the time the SA has had to file it for the defense!
I agree he may be working from a perspective of understanding Casey more than anyone. I believe he is probably experiencing a very healthy case of self protecting bustrophobia.

i think it should be evident to anyone in that family who casey really is by now.

but i think only cindy's brother sees it.

Agree but add, KC's Grandmother does too! She know her granddaughter is a monster ie Casey hated Cindy more than she loved Caylee (not sure if that is the exact quote, but close.

People very, very often make public statements to avoid more attention, while privately their thoughts could not be more opposite. I liken it to President Obama promising no new taxes....meanwhile knowing American's will have to pay if they do not purchase the insurance he wants to be required, he just left that, et al, details out of the no new taxes campaign slogan. Big wink.

If Lee were to say make controversial comments regarding that yes he believes Casey killed his niece or comment on her alleged salacious relationship between he and Casey as teens....the media would be on him as if the white smoke just emerged from the window and he was the newly elected Pope. If he continues his I stand behind my sister mantra...the story has no legs. It is a strategy to avoid the press, period, imo.

His absence in the courtroom for two years , I have mentioned this before, reminds me of Kris Cardashian-Jenner, best friend of Nicole Brown Simpson, sitting behind Nicole's family in the courtroom throughout the OJ trial, despite the fact that her former husband and father of her children, Robert Kardashian was on the other side of the aisle as one of OJ's lawyers! Lee's absence is public, it is overt and it says, I am not with you, you are on your own, sis, imo.

My thoughts exactly.

How can he be 100% behind the woman who accuses him of molesting her in an incestuous manner? That doesn't set right with me, he's either trying to keep his name out of the press as much as possible or trying to make KC think he supports her, IDK. That's insane, if he's 100% behind her - does that mean he 100% agrees with her molestation claims?

Stay under the radar. Try to avoid enraging her any further. Try to keep everyone happy. Lee's a Scorpio. "I believe everything my sister tells me. Because I have to." He has no choice. KC still rules the family. Just look at them! jmo

KC has already run over him once. Maybe he is afraid she'll find reverse. LOL

ITA...do you really think he'd come out and say, yeah, I think my sister did this???

No, of course he can't do that and seem disloyal to this family and his sister. He has to say this as not to make her guilty as charged. They are trying to save her life but they should all tell her to come clean and save her own. I don't beleive anything from anyone in this family...they are beyond denial, JMHO...

CMA fest he made a promise....:furious:

If LA ever said he did not believe his sister the press would be hounding him endlessly. He would not be able to function. For that reason, I would not blame him because even a "no comment" would bring the press "a runnin". jmo

The more I think about that statement the more I think it almost sounded as if that was what he was supposed to say. Not by the words but by the tone, it came off as a quote to me. I'm not sure thats clear but if you get a chance listen to it again you might pick up on what I'm trying to say.

Exactly- he said a lot more truth about her in unguarded moments, like when he was in the car with Tony..

Your can pick your friends but you can't pick your family. Not in this world.

I agree 100%, that's exactly what I gathered from the statement. Well put.

I dont want to get into those molestation statements because it really brings out some open wounds for quite a few people, but I will make one comment. I think that she had used that before with Jesse and a few others and she got a favorable, your in my pocket now, response. She had very little in her life to complain about or gardner sympathy from so she made something up. Maybe at a party where some other girl had a truthful and sad story to tell, Casey felt the attention diverted from her and wanted to one up her. I think she also used it to explain away bad behavior and thats why the seriousness of her claim. IMO
