Not an English translation on this page, but they have several family photos I had not seen. In one, the little girls have their hair in ponytails that look cute.

The oldest girls look like death in that picture - pale, sallow, dark circles, extremely thin. If I saw them I would assume they were undergoing cancer treatment.

I've been wondering who that extra couple is, with them, in front of the castle. I know I can't sleuth them but I still find it odd.

Elizabeth Flores is inserting herself into story (IMO purely for financial gain and custody of the children) and I have reason to believe she may be scamming people.

There were pics on David & Louise's facebook page of L holding E's youngest kid in 2010, a baby at the time, E commented "that's my sister and my baby!".
Two years ago E commented on the couple's pic of their new baby saying "I want her"!
Yet she told journalists they haven't been in touch in 19 years and claimed Louise never accepted her FB friend request.

ALSO they haven't had a 'sisterly relationship in 19 years' yet Elizabeth told Good Morning America the 17 y/o who called the police was likely the daughter named after her? Why would you name your child after a sister you cut off/haven't seen or contacted in 2 years?

Her interview on Good Morning America was incredibly shady, she "cried" but there were no tears.

She has the same bio as David Turpin's relations "child of god" and I fully believe they're all in the quiverfull thing together.

How could you appear on national tv, as incredibly composed as she was only 48 hours after the discovery of this horror show?

None of her story adds up.

And where were they going after midnight ? What kind of places are open then ? Oh, yes. Bars. Nightclubs, etc.
Except it's doubtful Turpin Sr. was taking thin, under aged-looking children to those places ?
Friends ? Except the parents seemed to shun everyone.
Some possibilities in my mind-- but they're pretty ugly.
Hope those children aren't afraid to speak up now !!

"....walking in circles..." is different from just being awake, and/or milling around.
Like enforced , indoor marching.
Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.

Edited to add : I really want to know where they were going at night. Seems like they ('parents') might have been engaged in criminal actions.
There's no reason to think they were on yet another Disney trip.

Where the children talking at all ? Did any employees think it odd for kids to be out shopping then ?
Wonder if any of the kids tried to reach out for help to a passer by or employee.

I think it's unlikely, but any chance some of these kids are suffering from something like xeroderma pigmentosum? It would explain some of the weird stuff like going out in the middle of the night and possibly some of the odd physical features. OTOH, I do think the more likely explanation is unfortunately just severe abuse.

This aspect is very scary IMO. In a small suburban town there isn't anything to do at that time of night. Unless they were starting road trips early in the morning, where and what were they doing?

Reached by telephone Wednesday at the West Virginia home of David Turpin’s parents, his mother, B T, said she was busy preparing paperwork and entering information into a computer to help her son. She said the family had engaged an attorney, who advised them not to speak about the case.

Yes and while I think he may be more passive than she I think he very likely did physically abuse those kids himself. I just don;t have the gut feeling that he controlled the family or called the shots. Her crazy grin in her mugshot gives me a hint as to her personality and beliefs about what she was doing.

But I also see him as someone who likely doled out physical abuse.




Yeah and I just read how they stopped going on trips or whatever in June 2016? Right after her mother died. Which harkens back to what someone was saying about possible hoarding.

Reminds me of one possible parallel to this story: it was the serious illness of her eldest daughter that gave Elisabeth ( Fritzl's daughter & the childrens' mother) enough determination & courage to demand of her father that her daughter be taken out of the dungeon and to a hospital, immediately.

(Fwiw- there are a few, not many, articles written post Fritzl's trial, and after Elisabeth moved with all her children to a genuinely private location in Austria. She turned down offers of over 1 million dollars to tell her story, and mercifully, has been left in peace).
