Deputies and loved ones are asking for the public’s help in searching for a missing Compton man and his 11-month-old daughter, officials announced Saturday.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, 33-year-old DeMarques Pearl and his toddler, Aaliyah Ferguson, were last seen on Oct. 3 around 10 a.m. on the 200 block of West 74th Street in the city of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Compton Station Detectives are asking for the public’s help locating Critical Missing Juvenile Aaliyah Ferguson. She is a 11 month-old female Black who was last seen on the 200 block of W 74th Street in the city of Los Angeles, on Friday, October 3, 2022, at approximately 10 a.m.

Aaliyah is 2’0” tall, 22 lbs, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple and white mini mouse shirt.

She may be travelling to Louisiana with her father, DeMarques Pearl.
