Police asked the public’s help Friday in finding a 58-year-old man suffering from psychiatric and medical conditions who went missing in Pasadena.

Adolfo Santiago was last seen Thursday at the assisted living facility where he lives in the 1500 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. Mark Goodman said.

“The missing person suffers from bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, hypertension and diabetes and will likely need medication in the near future,” Pasadena police said in a written statement.

Santiago is Latino, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 pounds, with short black hair and black eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown-and-green checkered shirt, light blue jeans and tennis shoes.

i wonder why he's in assisted living at 58. I thought that was for people who couldn't physically care for themselves. Would the combination of his issues be that reason? I'm sure there are tons of people with the same issues who don't live in assisted living.
