I am feeling so blessed and grateful to see all of those wonderful LE and the lead detective in the grey suit, for working so hard to bring justice to little Jr. Fitting for the 4th of July weekend to see they work so hard.

I just can not wrap my brain around he killed his son, I still think we haven't heard all of this story. And until some convincing evidence is presented I will remain "On the fence". Deep in my soul I feel Little Ara is alive, I don't know why I feel so strongly about this.
When he was arrested in Vegas and everyone (most people) were posting their condolences on Gigi's page (link posted several times above) she posted a follow up comment saying she spoke to boy's mother and she still believed he was alive.

But by by the time they held the news conference shortly afterwards they recited her comments acknowledging his death leading me to believe they have some pretty strong evidence they may have shared with her. Instead of passing out flyers she was planning a vigil for this weekend for the first time.

You're probably right they shared some information with her if that's what she is doing.

Statement by AA Jr.'s mom.

“It is with deepest and most profound sadness that I want to thank the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, along with the many other agencies and volunteers who have worked and will continue to work diligently to find my son,” Estevez said.
“In a presentation to the South Pasadena City Council, I shared that it only takes 30 seconds to fall in love with my son,” her statement continued.
"..Although most have never met Picqui, it is immensely clear that he has touched your lives in a positive and heartfelt way. My heart is shattered and I will miss my son immensely each and every second of every day for the rest of my life. Picqui was everything great in my life, and I cannot imagine the emptiness and the void that I will bear until we are together again someday. I am eternally grateful for detectives, family, friends and volunteers who loved my Picqui as much as I do."

I drove my granddaughter who was visiting from Maine on a scenic route SF to LA during her spring break. US 1 is closed at Big Sur due to a landslide taking a bridge out so we took 101 from SF and cut across 154 to US 1 in Santa Barbara.
I've been 101 to US 1 in the past too, deep unaccesable canyons are whichever way you go through there. IMO
He had a plan. Part of his plan was to make sure his little body was never found.
I think we should refer to the father as Lucifer for now on.
May he rot in hell.

Sorry if this is has already been posted or if the link doesn't work. I looked up the site for Inmate Info. Looks like he's been booked at Men's Central in LA. I've heard that jail is pretty rough... so I'm glad he's there lol

Well that must be freaking nice. I know someone in a CA prison hes in for 5 yrs for a bunch of drug and theft crimes and he can only talk to his mom 15min a day. Death row inmates get more privileges thats not right.

Totally agree - let them have nothing - plaster their cells with their victims and the victims' families pictures.... Let them just sit there and "think" of what they did. Too many privileges!! :gaah:

And Thanks for the pix! Whiteorchids!

I'm up there with you! :fence: Really hoping little Ara is still alive....

So no news on "when" he's going to be arraigned? Monday?? :crossfingers:

It says his next court date is July 3 at 8:30am Alhambra courthouse. I wonder why that very small courthouse further away (I've been there) and not the downtown courthouse a few blocks away he had his hearing at in April.

Also it says his birthday is April 24 - he was originally arrested April 22 day of Arroyo park incident when 34 years old, turned 35 in jail and released April 25 when he had turned 35.

His permanent housing at Men's Central Jail will be assigned July 1 at 7am (in 6 hours).

Ranks top 10 worst in the country per wiki and one of the largest jails in the world. It has severe overcrowding. Capacity is 5276 and in 2015 housed 17,000 inmates.

I hope they use excessive force and put him in general population. I hope he doesn't get TV or books just like little Jr. Why should he have it any better?

Pictures posted by Whiteorchids of him getting off of the airplane in shackles show that he is wearing socks with open toe slippers/flip flops. Is that normal for incarcerated people?

I'm pretty sure he's wearing what he was wearing when he got arrested in NV. Then when he gets to Central Jail in LA he gets clothing assigned there and what he's wearing gets stored away.

They searched water and dogs would have picked up scent if he was lying out in the open imo but I can be wrong. Sr. is acting quite confident they won't find him.

I think the law should be edited to require lie detector tests on murder suspects especially when they refuse to voluntarily state where the body is. That would help solve the location of the child while still being inadmissible in court.

I am guessing that if he is actually deceased, his body is nowhere near the two areas Senior was seen. I think both the lake and the park were attempts to mislead.

Gigi just reported that little Ara's body has been found last night near Lake Cachuma. RIP Little Ara. May the beast that did this to you rot in hell.

That picture.

Those chubby cheeks and hands that you just want to squeeze and kiss.

Never in my lifetime will I understand

:rose:

Even though I knew he was killed the instant I saw this story and kept repeating it, I had hope in the back of my mind he would be found alive. So sad and tragic this.

Those chubby hands, cheeks and sweet smile.

Heartbroken, but relieved he has finally been located.

Fly high, little Ara. :rose:

I wonder if Senior finally gave up the location? Even though I felt fairly certain that this would be the outcome, it still brought the tears. This precious baby.........
