Circumstances of Disappearance- On 4/22/1979, Albert Surita Lopez, age 64, was reported missing by his family. He retired from his job as a bridge tender on Bacon Island Rd on Friday 04/20/1979. The investigation revealed that Lopez left the Middle River Inn Bar, and he was on his way to the Whiskey Slough Boat Harbor. However, he never arrived.
