UPDATED POST: Law enforcement officers are currently searching for a missing person believed to be in the area of CAMINO TASSAJARA and BLACKHAWK DRIVE.

ALEX DUARTE, is a 9 year old HISPANIC MALE, that is 4 feet and 11 inches tall, and weighs approximately 70 pounds.

They were last seen near CAMINO TASSAJARA around 6:30PM. They have BLACK hair, BROWN eyes, and was last seen wearing GREY SHORTS & a BLACK T-SHIRT. ALEX is believed to be at risk due to AUTISM & IS NON VERBAL.

This is about 12 miles from me. It is a nice area, but it is scary for this 9-year-old with special needs to be out alone overnight.

I only have local sources & not an MSM link, but I think it is important to know that there is a command center at Mustang Soccer Complex, 4680 Camino Tassajara Road, Danville, CA 94506. Community volunteers are meeting there, and helicopters, drones and K9s are leaving from there. Search is ongoing overnight.

FOUND Sunday, 9:05 AM: Alex has been located. A Blackhawk resident spotted him and called the Sheriff’s Office. Contra Costa deputy sheriffs responded to the location and confirmed that it was Alex, who was reunited with his family.

Thank you to all of the Search and Rescue teams/members who responded as well as the community and residents for your interest and in getting the word out.
