"The autopsy of a 20-year-old Yuba College student who went missing for six weeks before her body was discovered in the Feather River is done, the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office said."

It goes on to say it was done Tuesday but they aren't releasing any details until toxicology comes back in a month or two.

I think drowning would be clear during the autopsy with water in her lungs meaning she was alive and ingested water.

BUT they probably wait for toxicology reports anyway before they release anything.

[FONT=&amp]It's difficult for a pathologist to establish whether or not someone was alive upon entering the water. If a body is submerged for any length of time, the lungs will fill with water anyway. Physical wounds to the body could be caused before or after submersion. [/FONT][FONT=&amp]My guess is the cause of death will not be conclusively determined, unless the toxicology report reveals otherwise.[/FONT]

I remember a case in Santa Clarita many years ago where a girl went missing and friends told she was drinking prior to leaving a party,when they did find her body and everyone awaited the cause of death,toxicology report etc,. the law enforcement agency put an "indefinite security hold" which they say can last days to months to lift. The cause of death was finally released however to this day, no toxicology report was ever released.

maybe not voluntarily, however, based on tweets, perhaps they partook in more then just the wine that ml mentioned ,which may have left her even more impaired? And most certainly would look even worse for him,especially since many are upset that he allowed her to leave knowing she was,as he states,was "chugging wine" but something else on top of that and the fact he wasn't forth coming about it?

I feel confident LE will have the video and technology info needed to come to the correct conclusion in the end, along with the final autopsy details. Depending on what the phone shows for the entire night,as well as cause of death, it is possible this was a sad accident.

No matter what the phone shows, it'll be hard to explain how Aly was in the water and her phone was pinging 10 miles away, the poof it is suddenly back kinda sorta where her truck was found.

Yeah!! She def smoked and drank. She tested her luck... also seem like she enjoyed being alone for peace of mind. Can't help but think she had a crush got dissed by ml and headed there for some clarity buzzin. Idk ugh.. not going to lie reading her Twitter has left me more confused than ever obvi because it has showed who she was or more of who she was at least

I'm thinking they were left in the truck, as I'm remembering what the lieutenant said on the crimewatch daily yesterday. He said there were items in the vehicle you would think someone would take with them.

In the video, ML indicated that she drove away towards the west on Butte House Rd, and he was surprised to find out she had ended up east of his house. She could have taken the 99, but if she wanted a back road, the easiest straight shot, especially if impaired in any way, would have been Larkin.

So if she's heading to Gridley at 11:00 pm so she can sleep in her own bed and get up at 4-5 am, she'd probably take the fastest yet back-roadiest streets. Larkin would be the perfect solution.

But even if she chose to go as Far East as she could, why would she backtrack towards Yuba City, on a levee? How does that give her a good night's sleep before her early morning shift? In no way is it an accident that her truck ended up on that levee. Very purposeful.

In thread 1 didn't someone say that park was a party spot and people drove around the gate to get in? Maybe she was meeting some people and got stuck? The phone really confuses me though. Not only where it pinged but also where it was found. If someone did drive her car there and carried her to the water how long of a walk is that while carrying someone?
