Another story of a tragic ending for a little girl. I hope they never see the light of day again.

"A woman and her boyfriend have been arrested for allegedly torturing and murdering a 7-year-old girl in Hawthorne, officials say.

Ida Helen Brockman, 30, and her boyfriend, Malachi Xavier Whalen, 29, were arrested Friday on felony charges in connection with the child's death."

Oh, those words, "and her boyfriend." Dammit.

Glad the little girl is now an angel -- no longer living in whatever awful world she inhabited.

"Details are emerging in the case of a woman and her boyfriend who were arrested for allegedly torturing and murdering the woman's 7-year-old daughter in Hawthorne.
Hawthorne police officers responded last Thursday to Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital regarding a possible child abuse/child dead call, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The child was pronounced dead at the hospital after she was brought to the emergency room unresponsive by the mother and her boyfriend, authorities said."
