Family pleads for answers one year after Ana Lorena Ochoa Torres went missing

One year after her disappearance, Ana Lorena Ochoa Torres’s family is still searching for answers in Bakersfield. With Mother’s Day near, they’re urging the public to come forward.

According to her family, Ana Lorena was last seen with her husband, Fabian Barboza. They say that detail raises serious concerns and are urging the public to come forward with any information that could help.

“He lawyered up, and I’m saying this because the detective told me he did,” said Beatrice Gasset, Ana Lorena’s sister. “So I asked the detective, ‘If I’m not guilty of anything, why would I go get an attorney?’”

It has been 18 months since Bakersfield woman, Ana Barbosa, was last seen. Investigators said Thursday there are no new developments in the case.

As I mentioned in a previous post on this thread, this is the mother-in-law of a good friend. I ask him for updates every once in a while, it's been very hard for his wife and the family to have no answers. I really hope there is a breakthrough soon.
