Keep digging it's out there on facebook and news articles already. I won't post since it's still under investigation. Child and mother went missing last year and mother came back home with no child. Mother was associated with the woman arrested.

according to this link, they had court yesterday "status conference" anything? I cant find any news.

I wish there was an update. My head is churning, trying to imagine how that couple ended up with the poor baby. Could the young woman have been wanting to give her child up for adoption and the Hartleys were posing as an adoption service? Maybe the young woman even traded the baby for drugs???

In looking at the DZ's daughter's FB, it seems she's known them since at least 2011, based on her photo of them on FB, and seems Daniel Z did too (different that Danny Z. I'm guessing.).

Prior charges also included gang enhancements so I'd say you are on the mark.

I can't make out the 18 but my eyes aren't what they used to be. I did note that in an earlier pic, the dark tatt above his eye, was not filled in. Also, she did not have facial tatts until more recently. The alleged mother has a photo on her FB on August, 2011, and someone asks her "What is your tattoo about?" (Which makes me wonder if she became affiliated as well.)

They will be prosecuted in Los Angeles County instead of San Diego. Arraignment is scheduled for today.

Murder, torture, and other charges. The child was severely abused and then drowned, and malnutrition and dehydration contributed to her death.

They've been charged with pimping and sex trafficking the mother. That's how they had access to the little girl.
