Thanks for making this thread, I was just about to. Very worried for Anna. She’s a friend of a friend, and hopefully someone with more info than me will come get verified as an insider, as the details are so far very concerning.

A quick glance at the area of 1000 block of Stanley shows so many apartments up and down the street.

"Anna Pushkin was reported missing after she was seen carrying her cat into the parking lot of her apartment building in West Hollywood (N Stanley Ave/Santa Monica Blvd) before entering a light blue/gray Toyota vehicle with the California license plate number 8XBP781. It was also stated that Anna Pushkin’s automobile had gone missing."

"Her phone, laptop, wallet, and ID were all left in her apartment and none of her friends, family, or coworkers has any idea what happened to her."

I am looking to see if the car she was getting into was her own.

This is sad she had her cat with her. :(

My first guess is if she was carrying the cat to her car - maybe she didn't make it back to her apartment to get her things and this is a car-jacking situation...

I hope there were cameras

How often do we take a cat into a car and forget any other important things? It is not a long trip so she needs to take a cat, otherwise, she'd gather other things. Maybe, it was planned a trip to a vet, since the cat suddenly felt unwell? This is when you'd forget your stuff.

If her hands were full carrying the cat and then she planned to run back into get her things. SInce her phone and wallet and ID were left in the apartment, I was imagining maybe she didn't have a cat carry case...maybe something happened by the car as her car/her/cat are missing...(me just brainstorming) (moo)

Looks like the cat is on a leash. Does she walk the cat often?

This is what I am thinking. Are any of her credit/debit cards missing? She could have stuck that in her pocket and rushed to the vet and something happened on the way. IMO

This is the last known photo of her walking to her car with the cat - it was captured on a door cam, it does look like to me her hands are full with the cat. And not her belongings...

I mean that could have happened too - but who leaves home without a phone and a wallet? You need your drivers license too.

If she had her keys in her hand to run and put the cat in the car - someone at that point could have forced her to drive away

I really am just guessing - I hope the have traffic cams or street camera will help.

I hope that it's true that Anna has been found safe....with her cat hopefully. I've checked the FB LA County Sheriff Dept..no update. Nor anything from her sister or friends.

The neuron tattoo piqued my interest.
My daughter also has a neuron tattoo.
I was betting Anna is studying neuroscience.....like my daughter did, at USC too. Sure enough Anna is in fact a PhD candidate. Like my daughter was lol.

Neuroscientists have a thing about the mystique and beauty of neurons. :)

The LA County Sheriff still hasn't updated. This article says her car was found Saturday in La Puente and she was found Sunday, but the reporter wasn't able to get details of where or how she was located. I wonder why she would leave without her ID, wallet and phone. At least she's safe, that's what counts.

A sigh of relief for family and friends of Anna Pushkin after she was safely located on Sunday after going missing for days.

Pushkin, a 26-year-old resident of West Hollywood who is working towards her Ph. D in neuroscience, was found on Sunday according to multiple reports on Twitter from friends of Pushkin.

ANNA HAS BEEN FOUND. No further details are available at this time. Thank you to everyone for your support and prayers https://t.co/8zZ5klJGdA

Pushkin went missing on Thursday, her sister told CBSLA Reporter Laurie Perez on Saturday.

Private investigator Anthony Pellicano, who was hired by Pushkin's family to help track her down, told Perez that Pushkin's grey Toyota Corolla was was located in La Puente on Saturday.

Pushkin was previously last seen in her car leaving her apartment in West Hollywood with her cat.

It's unclear at this moment where she was located and what led to it.

Could be. Even accidental hit-and-run because she was holding the cat and her attention was on the cat.
