Police asked for the public's help Tuesday in identifying a woman whose remains were found in a ditch in Antioch nearly 25 years ago

An investigation determined that the body was that of a black woman around 40 years old who was about 5 feet 4 inches tall and of unknown weight, according to police.

ANTIOCH -- Police hope the public can help identify a woman whose body was found almost 25 years ago in a gully off Somersville Road.

A caller to Antioch police in April 1988 reported finding the decomposing body off Somersville just south of Buchanan Road. At the time, police did not find any indication that woman had been the victim of an assault or a homicide. The body had likely been there for several weeks.

This seems like it could definitely be a fit and her name is Fannette, which would match with the "F" pendant that Jane Doe was wearing. Did anyone submit?

NamUs lists them as both having fingerprints entered in the system, so they'd probably have automatically matched, if they were a fit.

If I'm reading right, Janaa was last seen in 2011, so this wouldn't fit as the body was found ~25 years ago.

I really like Fannette for this. I think someone should submit!

The only problem I see is that Fannette only seems to have DNA, no dental or fingerprints. UP has dental and fingerprints, but no DNA?

Ugh, bummer! Maybe local law enforcement has it but they didn't put it in the NamUs system? On another case, a girl was listed as having no dental records on NamUs but when a WebSleuther contacted local LE, they had her dental records on file and had made exclusions based on it.

This UID was found with a number of coins including a 1988 penny so she could only have been deceased for max 4 months (unless coins are released ahead of their 'year' so they are in circulation from 1 January)?
