I could be wrong, but it looks to me like he does have a beard in the photo of father/son with Mickey Mouse.

omg and I just noticed one more creepy thing about the Disneyland picture - he's wearing all black. He probably planned that so he's less detectable in the remote location he takes Jr. afterwards. I wonder what he was wearing on the surveillance tapes at the lake the next morning - same outfit or change of clothes, and what he was wearing Saturday, and if they did a forensic analysis of this black outfit for traces of blood, soil etc.

Lake Cachuma does have public showers and it is a no swim lake so he didn't go swimming in the lake.

I was bothered by 2 statements in the news conference yesterday. The fact LE really believes he was attempting suicide when I think it was part of the show, and when they stated they searched the whole lake. I don't think they've searched the whole lake that would take lots of time and people. They've only done 2 relatively short searches there, the first one only the part of the lake he was last scene.

I guess it depends on the definition of "search the whole lake". I'll bet they did that by air and by boat but not with divers. That would be impossible. I think they only sent in divers at the area where he was seen.

I believe that was an old pic and the video tape and pictures from Disneyland that day have not been released

Thank you for that info. I was wondering the same thing about how did he put the body in the lake with weights without a boat/ kayak or something. Now that you said it's not a swimming lake I found it hard to believe it would be there.

I think he might have slept in the car where it was out of jiuce. Maybe kept the radio or heat on??? If it happened where little Ara was, that would have been pretty risky. I hope they searched THAT area.

Gigi fb page said a few weeks ago that a park ranger gave him a jumpstart but that was during the day at the lake and he was without to the boy.

Don't worry, I had the mental picture and really thought he was clean shaven. I even went back to google to see if I could find a different picture of him at Disney where he was clean shaven. :dunno:

The campsite that he was at is on a hill just above the lake or more like a cliff that drops off into the lake. However on a Friday I would think there would be too many people around to not be seen putting a body in the lake. I'm thinking he stopped at the lake to sleep and maybe clean up/have a shower after it had been done. I was at Cachuma mid March and it was 85 beautiful degrees. It can be cool or quite warm in April there. I don't know what the temps were that day but I would guess he maybe had his radio and/or AC on while he was sleeping.

I would need heat if I slept in my car in the Santa Barbara area in April.
It would have been in the 40's at night still.

He was there during the day. I was there for a few days mid March and the day time highs were in the 80s. I don't know what the temps were the day he was there but probably pretty warm in the car.

They can't release the time because it's an open investigation they only said day time.

Can anyone confirm this? I haven't read that that Disneyland pic is old. When is that pic from then? Jr. looks 5 years old in it. The only thing that would lead me to believe it's old is that he hasn't been described as last having worn a red t-shirt as seen in that pic.

Can't help but wonder if he had planned to carry it out that day considering he's wearing all black then backed out :/

Watch the 2nd video on this page. Around 1:20 they scan quickly over parts of the divorce papers. You can read some details about the grandmother in question, allegations of abuse, threats made to send the kid to another country, changes to custody and reasons, problems with scheduling speech therapy, and even disagreements on which school to enroll the kid. According to the documents, the dad wanted the child to be placed in a South Pasadena school which had higher ratings compared to the Baldwin Park schools mom was looking in to. Regarding the DisneylandVideo It has not been released. But yes the pic is from that day.
On one of the post on fb it said baby ara hair might be longer but that was because it was posted after his disappearance.
So yes that pic was from Disneyland I was confused with the fb post where it said his hair might be longer.
I want to add the screenshot from Gigi's page that talks about the pic. How can I add pic here?

Sorry on Gigi page it said the baby aras hair might be longer that's why I thought it wasn't from that day. I guess she posted the pic later on during the investigation.

They cannot account for him from 2 AM until 8 AM, that is when I imagined he got rid of the body and then slept in his car.
In March, Santa Barbara night time temps where below 50 according to the records I referenced. I checked another source they said the same.

Well, that's weird - the article doesn't give a time for today, but the Google item had the date as Thur, June 29 at 10am listed. So I figured the article would say the say. :dunno:
