right, but one of two defendants was convicted. I wonder if all pleas with only one suspect are on there.

I think so.

From the article/list's section on Lucinda Schaefer and Andrea Hall:

Sounds like Norris took a plea deal in that case. So there are probably other pleas included in the list, as well. (Defendant pleading guilty is still a conviction, as far as I understand.)

It just dawned on me , if there were enough of the pills missing from that script ,to kill a 5 yr old.

What if they were sleeping pills. Jr was having trouble sleeping. Missing his mom or maybe just got too tired from the previous activities (Disney, Lake (if he ever made it there)) and Dad gave him some of his "Medicine" to help. Or maybe he is being whiney from being so tied and dad uses pills to quiet him. Jr Doesn't wake up, Dad freaks out and tries to hide evidence, takes extra pills to either numb him or to cover the missing pills that he gave Jr. It's a cazy scenario but IMO could happen.

I find myself thinking that the child was in a ditch somewhere, and he was cold and hungry, and hurt, and he suffered before he died. And then I can't sleep anymore.

I'm not a lawyer, but I believe that when a defendant agrees to a plea deal it is still considered a conviction. Therefore, both of those defendants were convicted.

As for ALL pleas not being on that last, you're probably right. (Most likely, not all convictions period are on that list.) Wikipedia lists don't claim to be comprehensive.

lol I know. I was thinking that was a woefully low number for such a huge country with a lot of ppl. I wonder if anyone has added Antolin Garcia torres for Sierra Lamar, he just got LWOP the other day.

I thought about Ara so much today. I just want him found!! I want those who truly loved him to have the truth, and those who harmed him to pay.

That's great news. I completely forgot about this case. I was worried about him being convicted since her body was never found.

Still wondering why the FBI are not involved. The longer they wait the harder to find evidence and witnesses. Anyone know for how long the father had been having custody visitation until the boy went missing?

IMO they aren't involved because they don't believe he's alive or out of the country.

This may have been posted as after posting I notice the date is May 25.

Have wondered about this little boy but couldn't remember his name. As I was reading an article somewhere online, an article followed it that said the paternal grandmother was being looked at as maybe being involved with the "disappearance". A search warrrant was obtained for her home.

The article also mentioned that while his mother is very involved in trying to locate him, no one on the father's side shows interest.

True - but LE did take out a few items, plus a computer. Hopefully, LE is going thru that as we speak (type??).

I meant to say they didn't find anything important in the items they took out based on reports.

As originally reported, there was gasoline around the car. If someone was going to go to that extent to sprinkle/pour gasoline around the car, why was the car not set on fire?

In my mind, I don't see a perp getting scared because a passebyer was too close and s/he got scared. No, don't buy it.

Has it ever been reported how much or what medicine Father had in his system? Was it a life threatening amount? No, I doubt this too.

I am just showing my doubting Thomas side today :gaah: ! IMO it appears the steps were taken half way, not carried out fully - just to raise confusion and cause doubt.

Grandmother speaks out: http://abc7.com/news/grandmother-of-missing-south-pasadena-boy-speaks-out-for-1st-time/2070710/

SOUTH PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- The grandmother of a missing 5-year-old South Pasadena boy spoke publicly for the first time Wednesday, exclusively with Eyewitness News.

Vartoush Andressian showed video of her grandson, Ara Andressian Jr, with his father just days before he disappeared.

"I want my baby safe. That's what I want. I don't want anything else," she said.

On April 22, Andressian Sr. was found passed out next to his car at Arroyo Park in South Pasadena. Detectives said the vehicle was doused in gasoline.

But Vartoush said she doesn't believe that happened to her son and that she wasn't allowed to see him when he was in the hospital.

"They didn't let me even just to see my son and then that's what the nurse told me," she said.

She said she was surprised when detectives searched her house. She said she has cooperated with them since the beginning.

That doesn't matter. They get involved in all missing kid cases if invited to.

I'm with you. And I don't buy what the grandmother states either. She's illogical. She says it's not true that he won't talk to the police because he doesn't like talking to the public. What? Deflection. One thing doesn't have to do with another. And so is she saying LE is lying? Good. What dates and times has he talked to LE and answered their questions?

And what is she saying she doesn't believe happened to her son? That he was found unconscious? On pills? Doused with gasoline? Surely her son is able to talk now and tell her what happened to him. So WTH is he saying?

She bothers me. I'm not seeing tears either for her missing grandchild. I know how my mom would react if my kid was missing. I know everyone is different but she strikes me as the anthony family type. Jason Young's mom comes to mind as well. To me she's about protecting her son. Not finding her grandson.
