Ara, Sr. has not been cooperative and has given LE "untruths".

I went through a very difficult divorce. I cannot even imagine this happening. The pain this poor mother must be feeling. My heart goes out to her.

"He was socializing in Vegas", per LE. He was not acting like a grieving parent or trying to find his missing son.

The last confirmed sighting of Ara, Jr. was at 1 am when leaving Disneyland.

The alleged motive is "a tumultuous divorce" according to LE. They believe this was a preplanned murder. The reporter asked if the motive was to "get back at his estranged wife" and LE said "correct".

Absolutely heartbreaking but wouldn't be the first time. My sister's vet had her four children murdered by ex while she was out jogging at 6 am. She came home to find them all dead. She was featured on Oprah years ago.

Took some notes for anyone that didn't see it.

*L.A. County Sheriff Jim McDonnell - Ara was "becoming a flight risk"

*DA Jackie Lacy - called it "murder" / no body found / 25 years to life.

*Homicide Lt Joe Mendoza (LA Sheriff):
Was uner surveillance / in Vegas for 47 days /not acting as a greiving parent / no evidence Ara Jr. left country / Ara Sr. was making plans to leave country / motive - tumultuous (sp?) divorce / evidence shows (computer?) preplanned event / new evidence - not sharing / up to DA to release evidence / not cooperative at all / untruths (lies!) / socializing in Vegas / won't go into his activities there / no other person involved / will continue searches for little Ara.
Took place better 2am to 8am - 6 hours unaccounted for on April 21st / confirmed times with survellience video at lake / lots of circumstantial evidence but can't go into it.

You did great! I couldn't write fast enough. Did I hear them say he was making plans to leave country to another one without extradition treaty? I think they may have said that.

And yes, they did say they believed he was planning to flee to where he could not be extradited.

I also want to add that Ana's statement really hit hard because on a previous statement Gigi Graciette reported on her behalf, she was still hopeful. At this point with the statement provided today it appears that she is no longer hopeful that her son is alive and rather accepting the heartbreak.

Thanks. I'm glad they were watching him closely and arrested him when they did. I also had read Ana's previous statement that Gigi reported so when I heard the one today it just broke my heart.

I know they have solid evidence of this but ugh, I have a hard time believing that still. I would think if that was his plan, he wouldn't of concealed the body so well. But then again, he was probably trying to make it look like a car jacking to preserve his name after death. All about him. Hope he's never released.
