What a handsome young man.

Often works overnight hours according to the article...Makes me wonder if he might have needed a break, maybe even had a mental breakdown or something like that.

Seeing numerous FB posts from the last couple of hours stating that Arthur has been found deceased :(. Sounds like his car went off the road and was hidden. Will update once confirmed by MSM. If true, RIP, Arthur :( ....

Thanks for the update, Lisa! Something I hadn't caught earlier:
"Arthur Pembrook had been missing for two days"
"Family members have confirmed Pembrook was found dead in Desert Hot Springs Saturday morning after a single-car crash.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers said a crash happened just after 8:00 a.m. Saturday on Dillon Road near the Desert Crest Country Club."
"20-year old Arthur Pembrook was last seen leaving his office Thursday around 4:40 a.m.."

The impression I got from the FB posts by friends earlier was that Arthur and his car had been there for some time, but according to this report -the only MSM source available so far-, the accident did not happen until 8 o'clock this morning, full two days after Arthur left work early Thursday morning ....

Oh nooo. RIP Arthur.

Maybe it was a suicide...

The accident happened Thursday morning on his way home from work. His car went off the road into heavy brush and wasn't discovered until Saturday morning. Police were able to determine that the car had sat there since Thursday when the accident happened. As a close friend of the family, I can tell you there was no "mental breakdown," or no suicide, he fell asleep or lost control. To speculate otherwise without knowing him or the family is a disservice to him and the family.

Thank you for clarifying--it seems there was some poor media reporting on when the crash occurred. I'm so sorry for your loss. Prayers for all who loved Arthur.
