We always want to hold on to hope in missing person's cases. But hearing that Tyler went of the radar the day Bailey went missing, was living in the woods, going by a different name, had her dog and painted her truck - does not sound good for Bailey. Hopefully this guy comes clean with LE and tells the truth. My thoughts are with Bailey's loved ones - no family should have to endure this.

Bailey Blunt was last seen by Tyler Burrow on Sept. 22, 2023, after he threatened her boyfriend, Jordan. Burrow was later seen in Sayler, Calif., where he punched Jordan in the face, knocking him out.

[...]

"It has been mishandled by the police department from the beginning,” Baroni said. “They had Tyler in custody twice, and they failed to interview him, and they say they didn't go up to Bailey's household where she was living and where she was reported missing."

October 20, 2024 article: Humboldt County native, Tyler Burrow, faces court after recent arrest in Oregon
Tyler Burrow was arrested again in Oregon just a couple of weeks ago (the article is from October 20, 2024), this time on a warrant for being an out-of-state fugitive. According to the article, he was arrested on 2 charges of giving police false information (fake name, perhaps? MOO), as well as 1 drug charge for methamphetamine, and he was booked into the Josephine County (Oregon) jail. Really hoping they can finally get some answers about what happened to Bailey and uncover some information that leads to her whereabouts. I'm a bit surprised there hasn't been more extensive coverage of this case outside of Humboldt County, California and the neighboring cities/counties.

Your Action Can Make an Impact!

Thank you for stepping up and ensuring Tyler is held accountable. Thanks to your efforts, he is now in custody. Although his hearing didn’t take place today, he will be held and extradited back to California. Josephine County is not dropping charges, and if Trinity County releases him, Oregon is ready to take him back to serve his time.

We urgently ask you to contact Trinity County, Humboldt County, and the FBI Field Office to stress that Tyler is a dangerous individual at the center of an investigation involving a missing community and family member. Bailey Faye Arlene Blunt was not just a name; she was a young woman with a bright future, taken too soon. Her voice was silenced, but we will be her voice now. She deserves justice, and we will not stop fighting for it.

Please call or message and demand that Tyler be held accountable and properly questioned regarding his involvement in multiple crimes, including Bailey’s disappearance.

I wish Tyler would just say what he knows and that the sheriffs would look into this more. Like he had her dog and vehicle that he painted and was hiding out in the woods. In my opinion it seems like he knows exactly where she is.

Local to the area, as well as being close to the circle of people during the time, I had a theory that Bailey was under the load of wood in the truck that was seen on the traffic cam heading to Oregon.

I however heard a rumor recently, I don't know if its substantial or had truth behind it whatsoever but the rumor is that one of Tyler's friends dropped a tree (we have big trees here), right over the top of where her body was buried. The location being on or near the property of her disappearance, off a wood cutting trail they were using that stemmed off the property thet were staying on and thay she disappeared from. The location being described was allegedly down a steep hill where during that time of year would turn to a mud pit. That friend of tylers allegedly had gotten his truck stuck there for about two days and left his whole load of firewood behind at the sight, in order to attempt to get out of where he was stuck, after cutting a tree down over the top of her grave to hide the body.

Again this is hear-say, I don't have any further information. And this is not a first hand account of what happened.
Those are pretty specific details. Sometimes these type of credible tips can prompt a search warrant. Have you provided this information to LE? If not, I certainly would even if it leads nowhere. There is always the “what if”. Even if it’s not first hand knowledge, there may be a little bit of truth in there somewhere.

If you aren’t comfortable with direct contact, Humboldt has a voicemail tip line and an online tip report. Information available at humboldtgov.org

I haven't had very good luck relaying here-say to local law enforcement. A few years back i had direct information concerning the homicide of a friend that should have implicated the guilty individual. Well I would say out local LE is so overwhelmed with missing persons cases that it's hard for them to chase leads on hear-say. In that particular case the guilty party succumbed victim to homicide himself.
However, with Baileys case there are other key details that I believe LE did not follow up on fast enough. Such as by the time of them getting the warrant, I do believe that there was a trailer in which they were residing on the property in which the beginnings of her disappearance may have took place.
There was rumors of it being bleach cleaned of blood which was inside, as well as it having numerous bullet holes. But in the rural areas of this county neither of the above is that unusual. Whether connected to the disappearance or not we will never know as the trailer was gone prior to any LE investigation or search warrants.
