Looking at the identifiers available for the UP and Patricia DeMarco, it looks like there are no common identifiers for the two cases. The UP has DNA and Dentals available (and no fingerprints); while Patricia only has fingerprints available (no DNA or dentals). It's going to be tough to get a rule-out or confirmation on these two cases.

Are there any other ruleouts for this case (knowing that Patricia mentioned above is unlikely to be compared easily)?

I don't follow most SK cases closely. Did Lucas have a 'type' as the age range for this UID is so broad, could his (ugh) preferences at least narrow it down a bit for us?

The only ruleout is Janis Sanders, missing in 1975, from Michigan

@CarlK90245, could this Jane Doe be this person? I'm thinking of submitting her. The age estimate is confusing though.

Christine May Gregg

The stats line up pretty well.

Age: 18
Disappeared: 1976
Hair color: Brown
Height: 5'5-5'7
Weight: 120-145
Last seen: San Bernardino, California

Yes that's why I was wondering if he had a 'type' that he preferred as victims.
Well, essentially, he's no longer believed to be a serial killer. He killed his family and then confessed to a bunch of random unsolved murders to put off his death penalty. So there was no 'type'. Watch the doc 'The Confession Killer' which will explain it better.

The Case History from the DoeNetwork posted by CarlK in 2016 states that Henry Lucas described her and then led authorities to the area where she was located.

This is the official report of all the killings he confessed to vs their credibility.
It mentions this Jane Doe and they don't believe its credible because he was proven to be in Florida when her death likely occurred.

If JD PMI was up to 14 months, that could date her death as far back as October 1980.

Lucas was confirmed to have sold a vehicle in Del Rio TX the first week of June 1981. Then he hopped a train en route to CA but reportedly only made it as far as Tucson, AZ.

This is the opportune timeframe here somewhere in the first week of June and maybe even including the 8th. Documented citation in Tucson on 6/9. Blood bank visits in Del Rio TX and Houston, then New Orleans on the 16th.

Possibly back in Jacksonville FL on the 19th but not actually confirmed back in FL until 6/21/81.

I agree that several grisly murders were presumed to be committed by Lucas or believed that he was present or an accomplice. Unless he is linked by DNA, the truth may never be known.

IMO its a stretch. And there's no source of him leading the investigators to the remains other than the doe network and imo they've dropped the ball a few times when it comes to facts.
Literally the document has his entire whereabouts from 1971 and its by official investigators, so if they say they dont think its credible, its probably not credible. I'd take the word of the people who actually worked on this case for years over a volunteer-ran website.

I'm not 100% clear this article is in reference to the Jane Doe, but I do believe it is.
