This young man's body was found at Soda Dry Lake, about 4 and a half miles from the I-15. He was decomposed and had been dead for 'days'.
He was 5'10 and 175 pounds. He had really long blond hair, apparently 1 and half foot long, and a moustache. He had some filling and there were signs he had brain surgery in the past. He was dressed in blue cord pants and a dark pullover with the motif; 'CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND - WE ARE NOT ALONE'
His body was exhumed in 2010 for DNA.

Not sure if this the same body or if two bodies were found alongside Zzyzx Road. One was found by a Fullerton college student and the other by a Land Management ranger.

Something about this one reminds me of Jason Callahan. I feel like someone knows he’s missing but just doesn’t know how/where to report it or they think he just struck out on his own.

Bumping case up. This case interests me, because I know several people who have had brain surgeries. This man had a significant serious health condition, and he's been unidentified for so long.

I would guess he has relatives who knew about his surgery. Maybe some still alive who have heard about a relative who took off to see the world and wasn't heard from again. But they don't think to report him missing, because he was an adult and left willingly. JMO.
