I haven't been able to watch much yet, but it seems as thought James and Ryan touch the players here, that James's murder was separately motivated from what happened to Micah and Baylee?

Given the wide open connections to gun running and drugs, and now allegations of trafficking, and given all the people involved and the talking, including comments on facebook, perhaps the lack of arrests or charges just yet, signals some broader ongoing LE work? To take more of this activity down?

I agree, it does seem like James's murder is tied to something else, but I can't put my finger on it yet. I'm hoping that the silence from BPD mean that they're slowly building their case and maybe this new publicity is just what it needs to break open. I found a couple cases in the past where BPD made a big raid, swooped up a whole bunch of people at once either with drugs or weapons -- I'm hoping they're about to launch another one and catch this whole ring.

I'm still stunned that it hasn't really hit MSM yet; this is unbelievable! Especially in a place as nice as that area is, no one would ever think something like this was brewing underneath the surface. JMO

Dr Phil Episode 2 - What the Profiler Revealed" is available:

After watching, I think I have more questions than ever. But a few interesting facts came out:

- First, I'm glad they got the phone records for Baylee and Micah now and hope the police will find enough to continue searching.
- Family says Micah was acting erratically before he went missing; became paranoid, with paranoia possibly tied to his drug use. Became very vocal about what he was witnessing which had to do with sex trafficking of girls in the area. He wanted to shut this down and helped a girl get out of trafficking recently.
- Profiler says the killing of Micah was done in PRIVATE, a very private act unlike a street shooting where anyone could witness it. Profiler says there could be 2 different murderers here but one person is in charge, or "the boss". The boss is most likely a white male, 35-45, in a marital situation with possible children. He is violent, scary, dangerous and very smart. He may be looking to relocate. And when he is arrested, he will be wearing jeans a t-shirt. He probably drives a "macho car".
- Police say that if they are able to ID the body parts in the water, this will enhance the investigation.
- Baylee was killed because she knew who killed Micah and what he had been saying. Family was told she was put into sex trafficking to keep her quiet but they believe she is dead.
- Ryan has been questioned/interrogated by police twice and has told them all he knows. There was talk of getting him help to process/remember the events as it was very traumatic. He may be mentally blocking it.
- A man approached Camryn after James' murder, saying he could act like her father now and that she could call him for rides, etc. She thought it was weird. This same person used to be a close friend of James and Ryan but may be part of the "boys who come strapped" as he was involved with that crowd and was the one that went to jail right after the shootings (for prior conviction). Note: Sorry, I originally thought he meant SB with this comment.
- Ryan had a great point: so many homes have cameras, street lights have cameras, why can't police pull these tapes to get info on car involved in James' shooting? Family feels as though police don't feel these killing are important, not taking the case seriously.
- Ryan received a poem recently from someone involved, as well as a drawing of a man's hand holding a bullet. Profiler says that is a threat.
- As of 12/17/18, Bakersfield police issued a statement saying that several leads were being followed up but no suspects have been named in the case.

Hopefully the coverage will help put pressure on police to re-investigate and the secret witness program is set to take anonymous calls from anyone with information to help.

Still need to watch this. What I find interesting about Your summary is the ranting of MQ someone posted a few pages back seems to back a lot of this information. In that he mentioned the trafficking that Micah and Baylee were looking into prior to this was the cause of Micah’s murder and Baylee’s disappearance.

James’ situation does seem very tangential to M and B, but still another act by this scary group. I hate that James’ daughter (who looks just like him btw) is getting dragged into this. MOO

Usually on a hot case like this one, we'll find that social media blows up and there's lots of chatter and locals chiming in with tips. It's so weird that we seem to be the only ones talking about it over here - unless I'm missing something?

The FB page is nice, lots of media links and well wishes for the family. We need some discussion going on in there, though, to keep it in the spotlight!

Thanks, very interesting. I find the profiling piece kind of strange because the part I bolded makes perfect sense and is exactly what I had been thinking, but the rest of the snipped piece, while potentially true, sounds like some BS a psychic would come up with--in the sense that it's vague enough that it could be applied to such a wide subset of men that at least some of it is bound to be correct.

For what it's worth, I also get the sense that MQ does know more than he has said, and is very possibly directly involved with at least one of the three cases, but I have a feeling he's not "the boss" in the situation.

Another thing that seems pretty clear to me here is that Micah must have been either murdered or lured to the location where he was murdered by someone he trusted.

If he was as paranoid as it sounds like he was at that point, I would think the list of people he actively trusted was pretty short.

And sorry to say, but the victim''s brother was there, hanging with the guy who called the 'strapped' bros. And he even said he was going to call them if the victim showed up. The Weekly Bulletin/ Prayer Requests/ Praise for September 16, 2018 - September 22, 2018, expresses a new message from * Mike Garcia. He states that his son has finally contacted him and he is thankful for everyone's prayers. It is not known as to who his son and daughter-in-law are. It is not known if there is a connection that ties to the mass shooting that took place the week prior to his fortunate update. The timing is concerning, along with the Church of Christ having addressed Mike Garcia as a * New Person. Clarity is needed here.

MllL36, I finally got the videos to load (mass shooting) and I’m afraid I’m not following your line of thinking here. Are you saying Mike Garcia in the church bulletin is related to Laura Garcia, one of the victims?

How does this tie to the Bakersfield 3 case, do you think? Media reports that it’s a love triangle gone bad - and that the woman in the center of it may have been texting several men, not just one. They think her husband went on a rampage, shooting all the guys she was texting - except Laura, of course. She is one of the victim’s daughters.

JMO, but I think Micah’s gf SW is the “friend” on the flowchart, to the left of Micah’s name. She’s the one that introduced Ryan to Micah and she knows the “bookie.” I think she may have been at chiropractor’s house the night James was killed; maybe she was the female passenger Ryan was asked to take home before James arrived? I’m trying to put it together but I may be wrong... (Taking this from old FB messages that Micah was with his gf SW at the hotel before he went missing, and another that Ryan took Micah’s gf home that night).

Also, I think Baylee’s boyfriend was MQ, the one arrested with her where they had guns in the car? (from Kern County arrest records)

My guess is that he is one of the “gun sellers” though I’m not sure which one as Phil didn’t tie any directly to Baylee on the chart (yet).

On one of my earlier posts, I had found where Micah’s dad was blasting MC online, saying MC was bragging that he was the one that killed Micah. My post is still up but Mr. Holsonbake’s comments have been deleted. I have the ss if anyone is interested.

I’m not sure if MC is the “enforcer” or just one of “the boys who will come strapped” that SB called. (Btw, I think they call MC either “Big Mike” and/or “LA Mike”). It sounds like there are several “boys” in this group, IMO.

Anyone have leads on the distributor or bookie? I have a few names I’m researching but haven’t found anything concrete yet. If anyone else is searching, lmk and we can combine efforts?

I have so many questions. Can I see the screenshot? How do you know Micah's girlfriend is SW? In regards to the flowchart, is it the one on Dr. Phil? Also, how did you find MC and his relation to all of this?

I've tried doing research on these cases, but when Googling it all I find is the Dr. Phil shows, the Facebook page for the Bakersfield 3 and news from Bakersfield KGET (all repetitive). I live in Northern California and I cannot believe I have not heard about this until last week. There seems to be very little information regarding these 3 cases and it breaks my heart. I would love to know where you get your information from. Perhaps I came too late in the game and everyone is keeping quiet. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I don't know of any podcasts but besides the Dr. Phil show, a guy named Chadman did a 1.5 hour video interview with the moms that's really good. It's on youtube. Shoot, I can't find the link now but if I do, I'll come back and post it.
