Police distancing James from Baylee/Micah....Micah’s dad has said MC claimed responsibility for Micah’s death, and we know he has ties to Baylee and MQ. Baylee was arrested in front of Micah’s house before, I wish we knew more about the context of that. I’m curious if you look back at the flowchart from dr Phil and remove James’ connection, if it will become more clear?

If you look back in the threads I have pointed that out that there was more than one person responsible for these homicides and BD’s disappearance. The only link in all three cases has been the social group the three have associated in the past. Whether the people you mention above are responsible we will let LE sort that out for everything you read or hear may be further from the actual truth.

Sounds like they’re making some headway. Awhile ago I posed the theory that the two really are not as related as it seemed. Mutual friends like this instance is the majority in this town. Good to finally hear some positive news.

I just saw where MC was arrested in late May for a long list of drug charges. Could this be related to the confirmed link now, if maybe he is talking to LE in a plea deal to reduce overall charges?

MQ was just arrested for kidnapping.

Wish they would say more about MQ's kidnapping charge. They did say that "no one is currently at risk" as a kidnapping victim for MQ, so I take that to mean the charge could be related to Baylee ? Time will tell. I hope this is the big break in the case that they've been waiting for.

I’ve been searching for updates and it looks like they’re clarifying charges (like /u/ChasingAmy said): obstructing a kidnapping investigation.

So do you think that BPD has concrete evidence now that Baylee was kidnapped?

I hope so. If this isn’t about Baylee directly, I don’t think it’s a coincidence and find it fittingly strange that he was being questioned about a kidnapping case. This kind of reaffirms the major theory that’s gone on on this thread.

I also find it very interesting that he was apprehended 2 hours later after a pursuit and negotiation. Hmmmm.
