I’m going to guess that she really was not in the habit of long desert hikes wearing next to nothing. I can believe she was used to hanging out around her home or a campsite in a bikini but hiking for an hour or more in the heat of the day is so very different. If she hung out while camping she was likely able to step in and out of shade or shelter as needed.Well, she didn't look too sunburned in any of her pictures, and as far as I know didn't have any type of skin cancer, so she must have done something right.
They probably expected to be back from their walk in less than two hours, so it would not have been an extended amount of time anyway.
Considering what ended up happening, I would think it's the least part about the case that's concerning.
IMO
I have serious doubts that she was on a 2-mile walk on July 12.
