Did we ever find out what happened to Lexie? I worried for her, losing her "mum" like that.

Barb & Lexi
Family members of Barbara Thomas suspect foul play in disappearance

And why did Lexie need to be dropped off at daycare on the morning RT and BT were taking the new motorhome out?Did we ever find out what happened to Lexie? I worried for her, losing her "mum" like that.
But why wouldn’t she have heard him yell, if he did yell as he says he did? That has stumped me. She surely would still have been within earshot. It’s all a frustrating mess.I wonder if she could have intentionally gone off the trail in an attempt to take a shorter route to the RV. She may have been in a rush to get back if she wasn't feeling well.
Or, maybe she decided to turn back to find her husband and then made a wrong turn. Imo
She might have, but chose to ignore him if they had a tiff. Perhaps I am projecting here. ; )But why wouldn’t she have heard him yell, if he did yell as he says he did? That has stumped me. She surely would still have been within earshot. It’s all a frustrating mess.
Definitely possible! She might have, but chose to ignore him if they had a tiff. Perhaps I am projecting here. ; )

Personal choice. And why did Lexie need to be dropped off at daycare on the morning RT and BT were taking the new motorhome out?
Then BT doesn’t return from that trip.
Did Lexie usually go with them?
Would BT not have gotten “lost” if Lexie was with them that day?
IIRC, that was a new RV? Why risk the pup chewing or relieving itself in a new rig. I would have done the same, but as Ranch points out it is personal choice.Personal choice.
My parents traveled extensively for many years in RV's and never took their dog with them. JMO
And was Barb grumpy, as reported by the kennel employee IIRC? If so, I wish we knew why.And why did Lexie need to be dropped off at daycare on the morning RT and BT were taking the new motorhome out?

Likely because RT wanted her to drop Lexie off vs. take her with is my guess. Emphasis on guess. I'm just thinking of typical hubby/wife spats, and I could envision this scenario. And was Barb grumpy, as reported by the kennel employee IIRC? If so, I wish we knew why.
No offence intended Roses but this isnt typical in my marriage. I dont do things I dont want to do just because my husband says so.Likely because RT wanted her to drop Lexie off vs. take her with is my guess. Emphasis on guess. For me it suggests an unequal footing.
Compromise is one thing, but things that make me unhappy? No.
I appreciate this is me though and not Barb.

Yes I would agree with your interpretation too.: ) : ) : )
I don't see this dynamic frequently enough. Of course it can go the other way with the wife imposing her will, but my personal observation is that it's usually the guys.
The other reason I suggested this is that from the little info we have on this couple, it "seemed" as if RT called the shots. But that's my own interpretation, not based on imperial data.

I dont disagree with you but for me its not just one thing standing alone. There are several curious points IMO.I feel the reason why people are troubled about all this is simple. It's because so little is known. It's all gaps. And people are projecting into the gaps all sorts of things that may not have been there at all.
To take one thing - Barbara's mood at the kennels. If she was cross, irritable or unhappy - and we don't really know as there's only one person's impression, and I don't think we even have a first-hand account .... Anyway there could be a hundred and one reasons behind it, and it might have been nothing to do with the dog, the husband or the outing. Yesterday I got a credit card statement in the post and it had a large payment on it that I'd clean forgotten about, and that put me into a low mood every time I thought of it because I thought the money had been taken already. You know? There are all sorts of things that get us down. Or maybe she just had a headache.
Indeed, that's what I said - it's all gaps.I dont disagree with you but for me its not just one thing standing alone. There are several curious points IMO.
In most cases you could probably write a list of things that seem "off" however they turn out.
I wont make a list here and go over all that old ground again because we are all familiar with the points we have debated and I think we are simply seeing them differently.
