Just for kicks - let's say that RT is utterly convinced BT was abducted - and for speculative purposes let's say he's got a reason for believing this: maybe something he hasn't been up front about & suspects BT was taken as some sorta 'payback' (yeah, I know going all Hollywood here)

What if RT is staying at the casino because he's afraid of being at his home, alone - RV parks: people close to you, parking lots, surveillance cameras, generally tight security at casinos, generally open 24/7 etc. - he sure isn't there to be alone....he may feel safer

Maybe being in the house alone is too much for him, without BT

Maybe as someone else speculated - he may soon rent/sell the house.....

I do find it a bit odd. But he sorta seems odd to me......

There's really nothing to prevent that, as far I can tell.
