Spoke to my cousin who works in Parking Enforcement in a suburb of OC. He states he heard the suspect's name on a local news broadcast this morning - before 0730 Pacific time. It appears that SM is behind in releasing it to the public. Because I don't have a link :moo:

Still no response back from the Admin/Mods. I forgot to alert my OP. Just did that, so hopefully we hear something soon.

The location (3rd floor) coincides.

TORRANCE, Calif. (KABC) -- A man accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend in Redondo Beach Thursday was found dead following a Torrance standoff that lasted about 10 hours.

The victim was found safe earlier.

According to investigators, a 22-year-old woman was kidnapped at gunpoint by her ex-boyfriend, 27-year-old Timothy Thomas, in South Redondo Beach around 3:20 a.m. The suspect used a silver semi-automatic handgun, police said.
