Well, yeah...

This is no laughing matter but that statement for some reason made me chuckle.

I am just glad a verdict was reached... I kept thinking it would end up a hung jury.

I thought it would be hung, too.

I believe this jury was diligent in their duties. Too often juries these days don't bother with proper deliberation. At least, it often appears that way.
