The Milpitas Police Department on Monday issued a call for the publics help in locating Milpitas resident Bienvenido Silla Amasa, who suffers from Alzheimers disease and has been missing since Sunday morning.
Mr. Amasa has been missing over 24 hours now and with weather concerns for tonight, I think its important we reunite him with his family, Milpitas police Lt. Raj Maharaj said via email on Monday.
Amasa, 66, walked away from his residence at 11 a.m. Sunday, police say. He was last seen on the 1400 block of East Calaveras Boulevard in Milpitas.
Police say Amasa may have become disorientated. He is in need of his medication for various medical conditions. Amasa is approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 140 pounds, has brown colored eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a green collared shirt, gray sweatpants and house slippers.
