Now that I think about it, we have video surveillance at my work/library of the parking lot and gardens of the whole building.
Perhaps this OC library does as well?

We have stalkers and poopers. Libraryland is wacky.

Saying that the phone, “was not receiving calls” if the phone was/is in a “dead zone” would it receive calls?

Unless he was in a huge hurry to leave and thought he was going to be right back, it wasn't going to take that long. The friend that picked him might have been upset former lover that Blaze dumped before going back to school. It went sour at their meeting. I don't think there ever was a third friend. He's lying. Blaze was doing a lot of social media back and forth before he went missing supposedly on Snapchat or a similar app.

All JMO

Were they arguing in the car, and maybe the friend had to use the bathroom, to which Blaze might have taken off running, fearing for his life? Remember, in the beginning the friend stated that Blaze was upset about something before he took off? Then that statement was retracted later on. Could this friend threatened to harm him? Maybe that's why witnesses said they saw him walking on the side of the road- maybe he was trying to go home, but the friend found him and did something to him?

Yes, especially as time ticks on. Although, time is passing by and no one has demanded a ransom.

Hmm could that be the message that the parents had thought was strange and led them to believe this was foul play. They were interviewed on my local news when this first went live that is what they said about the message they received. That odd kidnap comment on Reddit was brought up to the families attention on the help find BB group.

Now that he's been gone so long, I'm more confident than ever that the driver took him somewhere and harmed him and is lying. Poor Blaze. :(

Me too. This reminds me of the young man from 2016 (I want to say Sam?) he disappeared after supposedly walking to or from a friends house through a wooded area barefoot. I think it turned out that two of his "friends" had killed him.

Me three.

Does Blaze not drive? Wondered if he has a license...friend giving ride, mom driving him to dentist.

I didn't find that Reddit comment to be odd. More like another random theory being thrown around aimlessly, like we're seeing on the Facebook page.

Also following. Very concerning.....hope he's ok somewhere, but he was supposed to fly back to school today.

Not quite caught up, but I've been looking at the Missing FB page. What's going on about that parked Cadillac....apparently still there this morning.

I fear that he walked off into that forest and not paying attention, possibly fell over a ledge or down a hole somewhere. If a grown man in 2006 can get lost in that area, a young man can easily be overlooked. MOO

I'm sure they are interrogating the driver hard until he cracks. I have a feeling there will be an arrest soon. They may even arrest driver to get him to talk just like they did Aramazd Andressian. If what driver is saying can't be backed up he is definitely person of interest.

Borrego Park Map2.jpg From the photo attached of the park it is my understanding that (from the restroom) the trail head area that BB was last seen entering could also lead to the busy streets (Portolo and Bake) adjacent to the park/path or to the backside of the shopping center south of the park, right? He didn't necessarily have to be heading up and around to the Whiting Ranch park area? Can anyone who has been there before confirm my understanding of the area is correct? Isn't the Whiting Ranch park area a good mile or so away from the park? (Whiteorchids?)

Also, if he was going to be meeting someone on that trail I would assume they were walking there and coming from one of the homes directly adjacent to the trail. Otherwise, it makes no sense for someone to be meeting him on the trail that wouldn't be parking in the same parking lot his friend was parked in.

IF Friend #1 isn't a suspect, there is a possibility that the high school buddy picked him up and took him to the park so that they could spend time together and hang out (or whatever) and, while at the park (in the time they were there alone which has been reported as anywhere between a few minutes to an hour) BB arranged via his phone for someone else to come to the park or to the adjacent shopping center, street, etc. to come get him. This would explain why Friend #1 didn't know who Friend #2 was or why BB was meeting them.

Yes that's correct about the streets being close. I live in the same town. But Whiting Ranch Wilderness is closer than a mile.

You just never know. The story keeps changing so maybe the driver is getting nervous and messing up. Your theory is good.

I can believe it, have that problem in parts of Va.

I wonder can they tell where the phone was when the female friend received text from Blaze?

Would like to know what that text said.
Wait I missed something - what female friend and what text?

That is so very strange. I'm totally baffled with that. I'm thinking LE is leaving it there In the event of possibly being connected in some way. We had an abandoned car in our cul-de-sac. The police towed it in a couple of days.

Do you have a theory to what happened?

So Blaze lived 5 minutes from the park, was meeting some person in the park, and needed a third person to drive him to the park? Why did he need the ride and that person (the driver) there, but not really there with him conducting his business, just waiting for him in a car, at some late hour, where you can probably barely see? Why would they choose that place to meet, at 11 PM? Why couldn't the driver go with him to his destination? What was the driver told, as the reason they were going to the park at 11 PM. Yet, the driver friend is not a suspect?

All good questions. What puzzles me also is that the driver drove him south (as shown on the excellent map someone posted earlier) and Blaze then walked back north on foot to meet whoever? Why the need to be driven to that spot in the first place since the supposed meeting took place quite close to his home? Maybe I'm reading the map wrong.
