Circumstances of Recovery: Unknown aged white male, estimated 25 – 40 years old, was found deceased near Bolinas point, partially covered in seaweed and rocks. On 08/30/2024, at approximately 1630, the MCSO Communication’s Center received a call from a hiker in the area to which they advised they had located a deceased individual in the area. Units responded to the area and were unable to locate the deceased individual. A search and rescue (SAR) response was scheduled for the next day, 08/31/2024, to better search the area and locate and recover the deceased individual. On 08/31/2024, at 0750 hours, the subject was located approximately 55 – 60 feet down a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. NPS Officers and SAR personnel responded down to the beach to secure the scene.​
