Friday ???? Wth

ID would not require a full autopsy

if they have called off search/dive it could mean they have information or???

or for whatever reason stalled things for awhile, it is government.

They have been terrible about getting information to your sister's family. Have they considered getting a lawyer?

Not to insult anyone from or that lives in CA, but things are getting done way to slow down there

Oh we know. LASD is the same department that dealt with Mitrice Richardson's disappearance which, so far, was handled way worse than this one.

If Bryce was at the Buttonwillow Truck Stop when he needed gas, why didn't he just buy gas instead of calling roadside service???

  • #484
Okay, I know they must be busy but not till Friday? I just can't imagine keeping loved ones waiting..:(

@ dragracerz: Bryce's current roommate said, in an article quoted below, that the roommate placed Bryce's "high tops" next to their apartment front door until Bryce returns.

Are the "high tops" and the red/white Nikes the same pair of shoes? If so, Bryce couldn't have taken them along on his road trip.

NO, he was wearing the red/white ones.

The ones at his apartment are black/white

I think he ran out. I think he was sleeping w/ the car running and A/C on

I think he was at the rest stop just to the north a few miles when he ran out of gas. Then he drove to the truck stop at Buttonwillow exit.

After roadside assistance brought him gas, he went to a Valero gas station and bought gas

Doing a search and rescue attempt on Friday and not resuming any search efforts until Tuesday definitely put a damper on this one

Just to comment my speculation on what he got out of his bag, I don't really see it being very important. He probably wanted out of the crash and the closest thing to grab was the bag. If he was bleeding maybe he just grabbed something to dab the blood. Maybe he was under the assumption he would only have to walk a short ways to get help.

Also I think they say it was a emergency tool he broke the window with because it was probably still on the scene. That's what I would assume because they wouldn't have reported anything at all if they weren't sure.

I still think that either he had someone in the car with him or the car behind him had something to do with something. But like his phone records and such show there was no unusual messages/calls etc...

Dragracerz - you seem very brave to come on here and answer all these questions. I cannot even imagine how hard that must be. I hope we don't come off as insensitive in any way because I know we all just really want the best outcome and we just are using our brains to come up with something that makes sense out of this. I wish you the best and prayers for your family and Bryce.

I don't think the "emergency tool" was found and don't even know if it was used, the window might have broken in the crash.
My sister told me she bought one of those tools to cut the seat belt / break windows etc and had it in the glove box or center console

Ditto! I personally think there is a third party involved. He may not have been able to say anything when he talked to his mom, or the service guy.

:dunno: Just speculation on my part....

Ditto again... Dragracerz..... We are all just trying to help.

@ dragracerz: What is your understanding of the fact that the SUV's airbag did NOT deploy, according to your sister in her radio interview? Why didn't it deploy? TIA
