The way I heard it was the vehicle went around the gate (didn't hit it) and missed the cell tower and veered toward the drop off.
That leads me to believe it was going straight and one side dropped off causing it to roll.

I have rolled over in an SUV where the bags did not deploy and it is as you described. My friend was driving and went around a country road curve too fast.
She then over corrected (twice) and we ended up going the right way, following the road, but were partly in the ditch. The ditch was steep enough where we felt the SUV slowly leaning towards the side until it eventually flipped all the way over and we ended up upsides down. Totaled her Jeep Grand Cherokee ($12k in damage), but the air bags did not deploy. Probably the scariest thing I have been through, and we only rolled once!

An 85 year old who died in the hospital is an physician attended death and does not need an autopsy at all. I'm not talking about those.

I'm talking about unattended deaths, like this one. We had a unidentified man found dead in Gorman, a woman who was found dead in the desert. One who was found dead under a bridge. A double homicide in a house. These all happened before the body that was found yesterday. And all these people have families, all these people need autopsies to determine COD, MOD. And all were probably scheduled before the one yesterday.

And autopsy done for ID purposes does not only include who the body isn't, but who the body is, which takes more time.

Understood. Every BODY has a name and loved ones.

And I am sure that releasing information too soon might impede a new investigation

I found this site while searching for any new news feeds. I joined to try to answer some questions and give some backround on Bryce and clear up a few things that were posted but not possible.
I am almost in the dark on what happened during the entire timeline as everyone else on here. I will try to post any info I have as long as it dosent interfere with the investigation
After making these posts today, I forgot to tell everyone here that this is a great site, and hopefully it can make a difference in a lot of lives.
After Bryce is found safe, I will continue to come on here.

I'm very thankful that you decided to come on here. What a terrible, scary time for you and the family. It's obvious that Bryce is well loved. Thanks for sharing with us what you can. After Bryce is home, safe and sound, we'll all celebrate with you!

I get it.. I guess I was just hoping for answers today, hoping for good answers.

So was I. I was disappointed they hadn't started the autopsy yet, I would have thought they would. I wanted answers as well today. But when thinking about it, I knew why it wasn't done yet. This is not the only body at the morgue right now, and there are other families who are also waiting for answers as to if their loved one is there.

The whole thing is sad, and waiting for autopsy results is nerve racking. Been there, done that.

Yes, thank you. I'm glad you understand what I was saying. Sometimes I don't put things as delicately as I would like and still be clear.

I do want to add me thoughts, prayers and concerns about Bryce and extend those prayers to his family. I know this is a very difficult time for all of you, a time that all of us hope we never have to be in. We want Bryce found and returned home to his family. Thank you for being here.

I will be back on later tonight or tomorrow morning - need to eat

Thanks to all for being here !

My apologies. My intent was to write "an 85yo who died out of hospital," like an elderly person found deceased in bed at home, for example.

It is nice to see Bryce's aunt on here. Welcome to the site! I hope your family will find answers soon, preferably happy ones!

Soooo aggravating to make the family wait so long for ID of the burned body. I understand there is a "line" and every body deserves equal respect. But a body THIS CLOSE in proximity to a known missing person should take precedent over full autopsies of bodies found with no close connection with a particular active case. (Middle of the desert, under a bridge, etc that is not in any reasonably close proximity to where a specific missing person was last known to be.) You don't need an autopsy to identify via dental records. Especially ones as unique as Bryce's. Give the poor family peace by either confirming or ruling out if it is Bryce. A full autopsy can be done later. It's just not right. :(

I am torn as to my theory on this. I just pray Bryce is ok!
On the subject of airbags deploying. Someone close to me was hit almost head on. She was in a mid size sedan and hit by a commercial size truck who crossed the center line. She veered as far right as she could (not much) and the truck drove over the hood diagonally and across the passenger side of her car. Thank God she had no passenger. Her airbags did not deploy and I was told it was for the better. The airbags that save you can also cause bad injuries (not life threatening) so somehow the sensors in the car know when to deploy....not sure how it all works

I agree fully. It is LA after all but it would be nice for the family to have the peace of mind. They should only need to xray the teeth

In all fairness, imagine you had a deceased family member that wasn't getting any media attention. You might think twice. :twocents: I'm sure they are doing the best they can.

Body adult male found 6/5/13 in car near Gorman-may be suicide.

https://www.myworldnews.com/Channel...-details-about-body-found-off-i-5-near-gorman
Body found 8/28/13 near Gorman unidentified black adult male.

Marti Myers was found in Boron Ca over 100 miles away so I don't think that one would be related but who knows?

Now we have Bryce and an additional unidentified male body. Are there any others?

Hi I'm new here. I live in Santa Clarita and for some reason this case has me worried sick ever since it popped up on my FB feed. BL looks so much like my own nephew. I pray they find out something soon.

I've read almost every post and if I'm following all of this that would make 5 missing or deceased persons found in the vicinity since June. And I know some are listed as suicide but it wouldn't be totally out of the norm for a perp to stage a suicide and get away with it? I'm sure it's happened before? This could be why LE is taking longer to investigate and put the puzzle together. And more of a reason why I'm thinking serial killer -- MOO

I also think that maybe Bryce wasn't answering his calls or being vague with his mom because he was a hostage type situation where he had to give very small details. If it were me I would have put on my headset and blabbed for 5 hours on the phone whilst driving (but I'm a girl).

And for Marti - Boron & Cal City are a bit farther away BUT still close enough and Hwy 138 connects the 14 and I5 thru the mountains (even Lake Hughes Rd will get you to the 14 eventually) and she lived in Castaic. The family didn't updated on how she died though...

Also on a lighter note, I can totally see getting of I5, turning left and trying to find a nice quiet place to sleep (ie not a bright well-lit parking lot) and getting lost up Lake Hughes, turning around and going back toward I5 and back again hence the driving back and forth? But if he was seen on video at 2:30 and again at 4:20 he was obviously not sleeping - that's what's worrying me

BBM... I tend to agree!

BTW.... :welcome6: :greetings:

My MIL passed away at home at 84 years old two years ago. There was not a phsycian present as she passed and she did not need an autopsy. She had been dx with cancer and refused any kind of treatment because her husband had Alzheimer's and was dying. So most 85 year old women who die at home have been under a doctor's care and on hospice before passing so they wouldn't need an autopsy because it wasn't a physician attended death. Pretty much, everyone knows why they died. FWIW

I understand. But the close proximity of Bryce's vehicle to the body & the span of only 5 days on each being found make a big difference.

There is a specific person in that exact time & space missing. There is a difference over the agony his family is feeling over waiting for the identity of that particular body than they would over some other male body found at some other distant location.

They deserve an identity much sooner. Not an autopsy - save that for later. But a confirmation of whether or not it is Bryce. JMHO.

Unfortuntely, that's not the way it works. There are many bodies that visit the ME, under many different and questionable circumstances and they have their own procedure for how they handle the workload. I forget how many autopsies can be done in a day, and of course, there are other people who assist and help with these autopsies or can do them besides just the ME, I think.

Does anyone know if the airbags deployed or not? I *think* I read very early in the thread that they had not...

And I was wondering if that had been verified. And, if anyone knows what year/make/model the car is, I'd love to know that, too.

(My brain is swiss cheese right now, sorry. I know this has been discussed...but can't find the posts. THANKS so much)

Dragracrz, there are a lot of folk praying...I asked my email prayer list to remember your family and Bryce, and they absolutely will.

Best-
