I can't believe we're not hearing more from LE about Bryce. I can't help but wonder if they know a lot more than they're saying. We've seen that plenty of times before.

Completely off topic but I went to Girl Scout camp in Frazier park many, many times as a youngster, too. :) Camp Lakota! Spent a summer working there, as well.

I don't think of the area as desolate, just not as populated as a bit further south. The 5 is always busy and even if you ran out of gas, help wouldn't be too far along.
Yes! Thank-you, I totally agree!!!

I am hesitant to give alot of detail, because I want to stay focused on Bryce. I think about this constantly and in my mind its an either or situation. I think either he reached a breaking point, or foul play is involved here.

When I (and I am sure its different and unique to every individual) reached that point, I just kept moving. I never stayed in one place for long, perhaps the longest I remained in a state was three days. I was under the guise of traveling, but in all reality I was more or less running... from what? to where? Nowhere.... I just kept going...and going....and going... I used my real first name when and if anyone cared to ask it, never used my real last name. I pray that if Bryce is in this situation he will eventually grow weary and reach out to someone (friend or family). I also hope Bryce is aware there are places that will help him (feed him, give him a night safe off the streets...etc) I did not know about these places, so I did it all unassisted, other than the kindness of strangers. I don't wish this on anyone usually, but when in my mind I consider the alternative, I truly hope he is out there and will surface.

I read someone say perhaps he ditched the car to plan this break... I do not think that at all. I think the crash of the car may have been the final straw that caused the break. I think it was an accident honestly. But also another part of me knows there are many bad people out there, and hopefully he did not happen upon one of them. You never know when you will be found by one... I just pray for him that he is alright... I follow this closely as he and his family are heavily in my thoughts at this time. Hopefully today will be the day this is resolved.

All this is just my opinion...

Thanks for your input. I agree we need to stay focused on Bryce, it's just good to read about your experience as many of us are struggling to comprehend how it's possible to just walk away.

It's so heartbreaking to hear that the family are feeling that way (as indicated in the FB post) but from what I can see they have a lot of support and I hope they will be able to get things coordinated and do as much as they can regardless of what LE is doing.

Yesterday was a busy day, unfortunately no news on Bryce but I was able to get help and support from KlaasKIDS, am waiting to hear back from TeamAmber, have a contact from Laura Recovery Center and have set up kind of a hot line via email for the FB users that are being overlooked. I don't like the way the FB page buries the new replies and am looking to an alternative, alternative not replacement. I was on the computer from 6am until 11:30pm and feel it was a somewhat productive day.
I am going to speak with OfficeMax, Kinko's, Office Depot and Staples to see if any of them will donate copies of the flyers or have a way to bill me directly for them so we can get as many of them in the hands of volunteers.
I may not be on here much today but will return with any updates.
Thanks again to all that are here, God Bless You All !!

There are sooooo sooooo many people on your sister's last update offering help from different search & rescue groups, help with command centers, search dogs, etc. There was even a girl who posted a personal message yesterday familiar with the area offering help on horseback.

You are doing so much! I just hope you are able to get to everyone with valuable resources.

No public info yet on autopsy results and, as far as we (the public) know, BL is still missing.

BL's Mom has a heartbreaking update, see FB page:

Looks like there is an organized volunteer search for today, see link for details:

I'm so glad this family is finally getting help. Also, it's got to be better trying to do something, no matter what, instead of sitting around waiting for word.

I know they are skilled & elite detectives but I fear the Laspisa and/or Burning Man case will simply be forgotten and by next week, we'll all be talking about something else. Certainly that's the way it feels; yesterday Smith @ KHTS reported that the Bulldogs had put some kind of "security hold" on the Laspisa case, which sounds either entirely reasonable in a case attracting big media attention, or run of the mill, since I can't distinguish it from what I usually hear out of the Bulldogs unit (that would be silence).

Hopefully other media picks up on this

Hopefully Bryce is found before next week! But if he's not, you better believe us websleuthers won;t forget about Bryce and be talking about something else. We are a tenacious bunch and won't let go until there are answers.

@dragracerz

Reiterating a very buried fb suggestion: Get in contact with the media to cover today's search efforts. Contact every station that has covered Bryce's disappearance thus far & then some. Maybe task someone with that job if you are too busy. Keeping this case as high profile as possible is what is needed to not only keep people looking, but keep LE highly involved. They do respond more when there is more media coverage. Unfortunate, but true.

What a shame that LE won't let TES in they are really good at finding the missing. Parents were in contact yesterday per my request even filled out the forms but LE said no. The only reason I could think of would be that their leaning towards the burned body being Bryce and don't want the area being tainted in case of homicide. I really hope this is not the case.

Thanks for the feedback.

Sounds like it is time for me to do a complete computer shut down and start.

Looking at the FB page the media is involved or will be involved. Hope they can get the word out. Also 7-11 has offered free drinks and a cool place to coordinate for all the searchers. Good luck and be safe out there, hope we get good news.

Gosh I checked in to yahoo news a little while ago and nearly had a heart attack. There was an article about a 58 year old man who had survived all winter in the Andes, living on raisins and the title was "Missing Man Found Alive."

I'm happy for the man but tearing up that it wasn't Bryce. I had such a jolt of hope for a moment.

Ok, no new news as of yet.

There is an organized search going on right now. Media has been alerted to this.

Staples and OfficeMax are both doing free flyers

I am now an admin on the FB page and have went back and contacted lost posts

My sister did talk to the guy that someone posted about a few pages back - it was not left unanswered, he is unavailable to come down until Friday (sorry forgot his name)

7-11 near Castaic is offering use of the facility for coordination as well as giving searchers free coffee, fountain drinks, slurpies and water.

Spoke with Laura Recovery Center again today - Fiona has been a big help

Still waiting on TeamAmber - going to try a different contact

I have put single searchers wanting to help in touch with other groups
