Bryce Laspisa's Dad Robbed While Searching for Son


The father of Bryce Laspisa, the 19-year-old who went missing from the Castaic Lake area over a week ago, was the victim of a car burglary today while searching for his son.

The burglary, which took place around 1 p.m. as Laspisa's father searched the Castaic Lake area, was observed by an off-duty Los Angeles police officer who alerted deputies from the Los Angeles County sheriff's Santa Clarita Valley Station, according to the sheriff's department.


Deputies arrested two Los Angeles men -- one 27 and the other 18 -- after chasing the vehicle they were in, said Deputy Josh Dubin of the Santa Clarita Valley Station.

The father of Bryce Laspisa, the 19-year-old who went missing from the Castaic Lake area over a week ago, was the victim of a car burglary today while searching for his son.

Yep, 2 men were braking windows out of cars to gain access and steal items.
Luckily, one of the searchers followed the men while another searcher was on the phone with LE. They were caught and arrested.
My BIL's window was replaced for free thanks to one of the searchers having a contact with a glass co.

RE: SUV seen on video passing twice near crash site ... Seems like that
could not have been random but intentional.

RE: BL's cell phone ... Does family have copy of BL's cell phone activity?
Anything suspicious? Any phone calls/text to from numbers in/around that
area? Was there much cell phone/text activity besides calls with Mom?

RE: Friday am between 2:08am and 4:20am ... Where (location) was BL's SUV?
Any CC/DC activity between that time period? Any phone call activity?

There was no mention of shoes which I was a little skeptical at first but she said he was wearing dark basketball type shorts and a light shirt, red hair, seemed disoriented, only asked for water, which he received, stood by the pop machine and drank a few cups of water, looked at everyone in the restaurant as he was leaving. She said she was a little scared of him because of the way he is acting.
Ok, so this might not be him, but Bryce did wear basketball shorts all the time, it was posted that he was last seen in cargo shorts, he would definitely need water, if he has a head injury, he might have been looking at everyone in there like do I know you - or do you know me ?

BBM - Could very well be!

If I was feeling scared of someone, I'd be carefully glancing at his face/hands/movements. Probably the absolute last thing I would look at would be his shoes.

However, BL's red/white Nikes were pretty distinctive and if a scary individual were wearing those, those shoes might have caught my eye.
