Bank ATM's seem to be good source of surveillance video.
Any banks in that general area?

There is a Chase bank in that shopping center, as well as a CVS. I hope all of these are being checked for possible footage.

Starting to seriously worry that too much attention is being brought over to Valencia. While I'm sure we all are very hopeful that the sighting was him, quite a few people have claimed similar sightings sans the drinking lots of water detail which was given little to no thought.

The Habit on McBean Ave is approximately 10 miles give or take from where he went missing. While it is possible it is a very big stretch. Since the sighting came up this morning after happening last night most of the search in Castaic has been put off.

Now news has been notified that he might actually be in Valencia not Castaic and these confusing articles could hurt the hunt for BL.

I aided in getting the media out for days including KTLA and CBS however did not deal with any local news aside from asking The Signal's Jim Holt to go to the foot searches. I think mentioning sightings shouldn't be in the news unless they are confirmed via surveillance.

While red headed hair may only be 2%, I went to school with quite a few in the Santa Clarita area.

You have to remember that this is Bryce's family who took this lead & has requested assistance in searching that area. I know you have put a lot into searching, but if this were your child or family member, I am sure you wouldn't want to leave any stone unturned or discourage any media.

I absolutely think the lead needs to be looked into--no doubt. Just worried that by alerting the media of such a sighting will cause people in Castaic to put there guard down thinking he's in Valencia.

Here's a picture of BL with slightly longer hair, a little beard growth and
sunburned (from FB page). Looks like an additional tattoo on upper chest,
left side and post earring in left earlobe, unclear if in right earlobe also:

I believe I read the tattoo is of a Taurus and roman numeral. Good job finding those pics. Definitely more likely that is what he will look like now that 10 days have past.

Agreed, and here's photo of tattoo on left shoulder area. It is a large tattoo
and may extend to upper chest area rather than an additional tattoo as I
questioned on BL's sunburned photo.

The uncle coordinating the searches has been working every angle relentlessly. And with Bryce's dad & other uncle there with boots on the ground, I'm sure they will keep the organized searches by the lake going.

Other sightings have been ruled out previously & never hit the media. I'm sure people realize this is just a "possible" sighting.

Oh that is huge. Very identifiable. I had originally thought it was on his rear shoulder and smaller. Seems to be forward left shoulder extending to arm.

dragracerz -- does Bryce carry any kind of pocket knife? And has he ever been in sports specifically track/cross country? Is he accustomed to walking a lot? Did he ride a bike/drive to school or did he walk?
