FIND BRYCE LASPISA
I am looking for information about a Purple Semi Truck that frequents the truck stops in Castaic. All I know is it is PURPLE and has the name PATSY on one of the doors.
If you see it, please get any information off of it - License plate, phone number, drivers name or contact #.
He may have given Bryce a ride away from Castaic after the crash.

POSSIBLE SIGHTING TODAY 1 PM IN TEHACHAPI at an apartment building. This was an anonymous tip - no address was given.
Please look if you are in the area.

I was in Tehachapi yesterday. If he took the 138 from Gorman to the 14 through Rosamond, then the 58 to Tehachapi, that's doable.

It's 63.6 miles and takes 1 hour, 12 minutes.

Interesting...I wonder how they know this.

I'm thinking a tip from someone at a truck stop or a weigh station who may remember seeing a redheaded young man riding in a purple truck. Or, maybe LE actually did what I was hoping they did and checked camera footage at weigh stations. However, I doubt it just because they probably would have a license tag # if this were the case.

Ya know, I had a strange thought, it keeps bugging me … you know the film Bryce did?

Was that for college or high school?
Anyway, I wonder what classes he was taking? Anymore film classes?

Could his disappearance be a school project gone terribly wayward due to the attention this case has gotten? (Naa)

(Stepping away from the computer.)

Okay Clu, I'm ready for your comeback!:scared:

This info was also just posted on the FB page:
Maybe, small possibility, this is Patsy Transport LLC, a small interstate trucking company out of AZ. Here's link to their info:

In your opinion, why would he make that decision. :anguish:

Care to share your thoughts??

I honestly don't have a clue but it seemed to me that he made a choice to go in a different direction in his life....he broke up with his girlfriend, I assume he stopped going to his classes, he wasn't responding to his mother's phone calls, his roommate (who I assume he spent the majority of his time with during the two weeks prior to his disappearance) stated in the below article, "I think that he’s trying to find himself right now. He doesn't want to be found", he also sent, what appeared to be, as close to a goodbye text to his roommate as you can get without saying the words, "goodbye", he had a lot to talk to his mom about, in my opinion he wasn't trying very hard to get back to Laguna Niguel as he seemed to only inch farther south when prompted by his mother's actions, and the statement from the detective assigned to the case and posts and interviews with his own family members make me think he left the area voluntarily. I don't know enough about his relationship with his parents (other than what the adults in his life have stated), about his ideas for his future or what may have occurred prior to him breaking up with his girlfriend. There is a lot of information that we don't know that I am certain would contribute to a clearer picture of Bryce's mindset leading up to the discovery of his car.

Sorry....that probably didn't even answer your question.

@dragracerz hope you get this!
I just checked, and two of their semi trailers are in CA nearly all of the time. Last inspections have these two license plates: 4CH6688 and the other one is 1XB4070
Report is on this page: http://www.quicktransportsolutions.com/inspectionreports/patsy-transport-llc-usdot-1770140.php#.UkOCsj-G9fs
Hope they find the driver! At least we could either be a step closer or look for another Patsy truck! :please:

EDIT - adding this: The last official inspection of the CA semi was just 26 miles away from Castaic!! This may be the Patsy truck - it travels CA constantly, and was inspected in Desert Hills in February! My heart is racing - the license for this particular truck, if this is the one traveling the route all of the time, looks like it is: 4CH6688 . Maybe, maybe....! Might be one clue coming together here!

What a crummy tip! They don't give an address? Why?

Wow! That's some incredible sleuthing! :yourock:

Hopefully, both Bryce's team and LE have been given this excellent information by now!!!
