i'm with you on this. as to where he is... i believe the one who *saved his soul* would have the best clue.

Which I agree with. But what else bothers me is the "moving" thing shortly after. I wonder if that was part if the things he needed to talk to his parents about since what they just moved in there right? Just wondering if that situation played a role in what he needed to talk about? I think maybe if he's known this was happening maybe he put some type of plan together that he wanted to talk to his parents about. Just another thing that bothers me about it is that little detail.

No I was mapping out everything I'm gonna do today at the site.

From what Dragz told me the only new thing that's happened is that Klasskids is going to re-search castaic on the 19th and 20th. (please do not repost this on FB, it has not been released yet).

For those who couldn't make it, we have been told there was no useable data, search words or other pertinent information stored in the memory of Bryce’s laptop or phone.
Blood analysis from Bryce’s vehicle was confirmed to be Bryce's.
KlassKids is leading an organized search effort in the local area on Sat. 10/19 & Sun. 10/20. Details for the search and volunteer sign up will be posted on the Find Bryce Laspisa Facebook page.

Is it definite that BL's arrest involved pot?
Ten to thirty grams of something else would be much more serious.
Just wondering in order to gage how much trouble/concern it caused his parents.

Yes that's what the report said

3 people were arrested for the burning body murder.

Homicide are part of missing persons...the radio interview with Bryces Mum explained it a bit more..

Sorry can't do links from this tablet.

I'm trying to find anything related to the car,I think caught on camera that was in the same area as Bryce 5mins before/after crash??...... it is in thread 1 page 2 post #33 ....I'm looking at the fb pages now..

Yes there's an explanation in the article I posted. Glad they caught the perps. Same with BL's dad's vehicle related theft. Lots of strange stuff going on.

So I went back up there today and there are definitely car tracks from the antennae 100 ft or so to the 15 ft dropoff. I dont see how the car could have gotten there unless there was someone inside driving it. There are parts that are fairly level along the way and I dont think it would have gotten to the dropoff without someone inside the car pushing the gas pedal. I took some pictures if people want them, I just need to figure where to upload them first. I also walked around the lake. Its a huge area and there is a lot of heavy thick chaparrel around the lake. If he went off trail and passed out or hurt himself, I think it would be very difficult for a helicopter or people on foot to see him. Also it sounds like 2 out of 3 sets of search dogs tracked him to the lake and then lost the scent. Which seems to indicate that he is in the lake, no?

See, this is what I don't understand. LE and some of the SAR volunteers said that they searched every area thoroughly and sometimes over again. I wish I had a better picture of what these areas look like. I definitely feel he could have been overlooked :/.

JMO, that is very...unusual.

You can contact FB to get that info FB is good about that stuff. I could be wrong but I don't think they actually had his contact info to get on it.

Homicide usually covers missing people.

I hope the lake gets searched again as well using side sonar and deeper than the 80ft prior.

It was alarming to read though considering within the same article, or the other one I posted, a homicide is discussed involving a body that showed up around the same time BL went missing. So close in fact that everyone was holding their breath hoping the body found wasn't BL.

Alright guys. Just left the scene. Was there for quite awhile.

The tracking thing actually turned out to be pretty pointless. Although some have said they believe he could have hiked down to the lake--- this is not possible in my opinion even for an experienced hiker. He likely either went down govt cove or down main ramp rd to lake Hughes rd.

The lower lagoon makes a lot more sense then the main lake. When you walk down main ramp rd its only about 100' before you hit lake Hughes rd or 25' to govt cove.

When you take lake Hughes down you could walk to the lower lagoon in about 10 minutes. I don't believe the dam was used to jump in the water. Doesn't make sense to me.

When you get to the lower lagoon the parking lot is relatively small considering and there is a unmanned booth there. When you pass that lower lagoon area you reach the conservation center by foot within no more than 10 minutes.

Finally from the conservation center to ridge route which is the end of the recreation area you have about 1 small block to walk. In my opinion you can walk down from the accident site to outside the recreation area in under 30 minutes.

If you go down govt cove you can reach the lower lake lagoon quicker and makes sense if he wanted to stay away from the main road way lake Hughes.

Once you get the side of the lagoon it seems probable he could have cleaned himself off.

The accident site itself only makes sense the way dragz said it on first look. There's no wag RKs works because of how steep it is. If it rolled once there's nothing to keep it from continuing to roll because the flat land is only 4' long. Not enough to hold the car up.

There is disturbed brush at the bottom and it looks to me like the car was driven down the first 100' at least as you see clear tracks downward.

After that you no longer see tracks so I believe that's when it began to roll for approx another 50'.

After that you get to a cliff that isn't so much a cliff. Its graded so you drop about 5' progressively then another 5' when you then fall more like 20' but its not straight down its more like a 25deg angle.

The road way where his car hit has very little soft dirt there. The pictures make it seem much bigger then it really is. There's also a very small wash there that may have saved him. I think his car may have got caught on it and slowed the impact to the ground based on indentations. The wash is basically on the 25deg graded cliff.

The roadway is so small that a small sedan couldn't even uturn so I don't see how his car was only 80% on the roadway unless it was still partially in the air on the cliff.

All the tracks would have been on extremely heavy brush or actual gravel so I didn't attempt anything.

Its my opinion that with how steep it is its almost impossible to survive. However if be did survive I think either the lagoon drowning or him leaving the area are equally probable.

Pics to come later at home.

He has to be in or around the lake.

Unless this is some crazy, super well planned, top secret idea, that took months to plan. I don't think him and his friend could have pulled it off. Especially nothing being on the computer and phone. They would have slipped up somewhere. JMO

So then we were shown the wrong spot and he actually drove down and didn't roll? Must've driven down and fallen off the cliff right there. So it wouldn't be a violent crash. So if the blood spots are accurate then maybe no seat belt? Would that leave anyone to believe he fell asleep? And forgot to put it in park? Hmm

Thank you for this information! Very helpful about the exact terrain of the hill.

To upload pics from your computer:
1) click on the paperclip
2) click "Choose File" & select the file from your computer
3) click "Upload"
4) wait for the file name to appear under "Current Attachments"
You can repeat the above steps until all the pics you want in one post are uploaded
Image Upload Popup.png
5) close that pop-up window
6) select the paperclip again & the file(s) you uploaded should be listed
7) select the file name of the image you want to put in the post
You can also select "Manage Attachments" to add or delete uploaded images

Ok, lets clear some new things up.

Airbags didn't deploy (I stated that before) but it takes a hard straight frontal hit to deploy them

Car (as it was coming down the hill) did take a front hit, but it was under the bumper, ripping it off, not straight, like if you rearend another car, sensors are an electronic device designed to do a certain thing, in this case, protect a driver from a straight front end hit, not a roll.

I cannot release any form of media that comes to me from or through LASD, otherwise I face criminal charges. PERIOD.

hope this helps

resize pics so width is 700 or less. width is the first number = 000 x 000.
At least this is what somebody told me.

The search on 10/20 should be interesting as this is the same day the LOVE ride is held. For those of you not in the area it is an annual fund raising event whereby THOUSANDS of bikers ride from a starting point and end at Castaic Lake. Once at the lake there are bands, vendors, booze, etc. It's a great time if you're a biker but probably not so much if you're there for SAR.
