This is my hometown and it's another senseless school shooting. Apparently, the gunman visited the school under the pretense of enrolling a child. This is small private school and so far speculation that the gunman had issue with the faith/religion of the school.

Two kindergarten students remain in extremely critical condition after they were wounded in a shooting at a small Christian school north of Sacramento, authorities said on Wednesday.

The boys, aged 5 and 6, were being treated at local hospitals, Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea said at an evening news conference, hours after a gunman opened fire at the Feather River Adventist School in Oroville.

“I told the kindergartners to take deep breaths and just think of something happy,” sixth grader Jocelyn Orlando told CNN affiliate KOVR.

“I told the little graders to close their eyes and cover their ears because he was pacing back and forth from the window,” Orlando said.

Bless her heart how scary and yet she was worried about the little graders in the room with her.

So they know who he is but haven't released the name yet. That is what I keep googling updates for. that name. can't sleuth or begin to understand why he did this without it.

Does anyone here know how the victims are doing? I know one of them was in really bad shape.

ETA: I found this story! ISTR that they thought this boy would be paralyzed, but he's re-learning how to walk and got to go to the zoo earlier this week.

And just today, the other one has been cleared to return to school.
