26-Year-Old Missing Woman Candice De Anda Found Dead In Her Car

A 26-year-old woman has been found dead days after being reported missing in North Sacramento, according to Sacramento police.

Based on the circumstances, officials determined this incident to be a homicide. Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators continue to investigate the matter but said they believe this was an isolated incident.

A man who is a person of interest was arrested on unrelated charges while the investigation continues, according to detectives.

Missing Sacramento woman found dead in apparent homicide

Chandler would not say how she was killed, citing the open investigation.

Neighbors told KCRA 3 that De Anda was a mother to two children.

Several neighbors said police asked them if they've ever heard any fighting at the home where De Anda lived.

The next door neighbor said he's heard De Anda fighting with the man who lived in the house with her.

"I heard the door to the garages open and I heard her crying real bad, like something was going on," said a neighbor.

Police Arrest Husband In Murder Of Candice De Anda

The husband of a missing woman has been arrested on suspicion of her murder.

Eddie Tillman, 24, was formally booked into the Sacramento County jail for the murder of Candice De Anda. She went missing on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Tillman was maintaining his innocence, pleading for his release so he can take care of the 8-month-old daughter the two shared.

"People that know me, they know me, they know Candice, like they know how we are together as a family," Tillman said.

Tillman is due in court on Tuesday.

A neighbor of the young mother found dead in Del Paso Heights said he heard "horrific screams" coming the woman's home the night she was killed.
