It's great that they found her so quickly. They have DNA and fingerprints listed as available, but not dental? Odd, given it's a dental identifier, the overlapping teeth, they are using to narrow the search to find this Doe's identity. I wonder if they didn't take dental x-rays? That seems an oversight, especially in the era before DNA could be used for identification. Dentals were often the best chance they had for Does, you'd think it would be standard in cases where dentition still existed.

Assuming she was wearing clothing with buttons and the clothing decomposed / disintegrated, so only the buttons remained? Or maybe the buttons popped off while the killer was moving and burying the body?
