@Niner Just checked the court site again. They set a new trial setting date for August 14, 2019 at 8:30 am in Department 6. They must have vacated today’s trial date. It didn’t update until this morning. Sorry about that! I will calendar to see what happens on 8/14 and let you know what the new trial date is then.

@Niner - Good morning. They continued the trial setting hearing yet again for 12/06/2019 at 8:30 am in Department 6. Both parties stipulated to this continuation. I’ll check on 12/07 to give you an update.

@Niner Also in reading through the document portion of the case it seems that the case is constantly continued due to a key witness being out of state. The DA is trying to subpoena a witness from Arizona. That is a long, complicated process as the court here doesn’t have authority to force a witness to appear if further than 75 miles from the place the witness has to appear. They have to get an Arizona court to issue the subpoena.

@Niner I was just coming here to tell you that it had as I had the case calendared for this morning. It says it was continued to 4/15/2020 at 8:30 am. Interesting part is that it says “Continued Defendant” this time whereas in the past it always said “Continued” and nothing else. I calendared it to check back on 4/16 to update you.
